On the scarlet set, with the addition of the Scarlet Key adding the old vanilla SM dungeons back it is significantly easier to farm the tabard in the old Scarlet Armory Instance now!
Skipped through to make sure the slutmog leggings were on there. It took me a long while to get a good set of them. I really wish Blizz would make some new ones in HD (or even just update the old).
More likely they’ll “update” them to look the same on women… er, “Body 2” as they do on “Body 1” because Body 1 and Body 2 are the same and they have the exact same capabilities and they’re so interchangeable that we can’t even refer to them as “male” and “female” anymore, so therefore Body 1 should just wear dresses and Body 2 can be completely covered up because there’s no conceivable reason that anybody would want to admire it any more than Body 1 anyways.
You don't want modern Blizzard to touch any of the old armor sets. They will turn them into full body suits with zero skin showing, or might just turn them into portraits of fruit.
I feel so lucky that I have The Tusks, gonna trasmog them on every plate wearing char I got wether it looks nice or not 😅 Edit: I knew without even looking that the Tusks would be #1 on this list. I got them before they added the skip but I am happy for the rest of you that now you don't have to spend a fuckton of time as I did, go for it broz

Theres 6: 2 variants with 3 recolors each. Jadeplate with 2 recolors - Tyrant and Saltstone, and Glorious plate, with 2 recolors - Vanguard and Lofty. Of this last there are red and black variants but only used by NPCS. The orcs in BlackRock and in the Black Temple uses those colors.
For the Dreadnaught armor I'm surprised you didn't mention they have a (low) chances to appear in the BMAH. Granted that method is ridiculous since you're basically waiting for each individual piece to appear everyday as well as having to have the gold necessary to out bid anyone else on your server going for it.
The prices for Helm and Shoulders alone on BMAH is so ridiculous you could craft 3 full sets for the same price, possibly more. I earned millions the first couple of months from crafting the 4 different type of materials needed for T3.
Same here, except my first time doing SoO above Raid Finder was in Legion on mythic mode and it wasn’t in a guild. I was in a mount run on my Mage in 7.3.5 and they dropped. I didn’t even know they were rare

this is exactly why i dont like items getting easier to farm, the item just turns into a joke at that point IMO. i'd let you stay the blessed main character for the rest of the games lifetime
14:15 That's incorrect, rolling with a seal is not an equal chance. Rerolling actually has roughly 20~% chance to give you a chance at loot, meaning getting the Tusks from a reroll is actually ~1/1500 instead of ~1/300
The Za’qul Pauldrons can also be bonus rolled as well. I am pretty sure you forgot to mention that in the video and, I just wanted to put it in the comments so people would also know that as well. I actually got really lucky when I got these shoulders. I managed to have these drop for my unholy deathknight on a bonus roll during a mythic run. Then right after that raid I also got the Tusks of Mannoroth, and the friggen mount dropped as well. Lucky day for me! Good luck to you all. Cheers!!!
My Warrior's favorite Transmog set was warrior DS2. Blue and Gold just looked so good on my Nelf warrior. Combined with 2x basic broadswords (Sheath on my back) was one of my favorite outfits ever.
Tusks of mannaroth were bonkers stupid to farm. The insect council boss can still one shot you. Then the ruuuuuun back. And the paragon boxes boss, oof. Galakrond mechanics were legit impossible for a long time for solo. Im really annoyed that soo has a skip now. That raid still took like an hour to do even when your sneezes destroy bosses.
my dumbass running the full siege forever now and didn't realize they put that skip in...well at least i got a bunch of tiers on different classes for mog? lol
When I first started playing WoW (Towards the end of MoP) I was a Paladin, and saw another Paladin in Stormwind rocking the Judgement set. I spent MONTHS after that grinding out every piece of the set (It could have probably been done so much faster, but I was a noob and didn't know better back then.) To this day, the Judgement set is the only set I wear on my Paladin, even on new Paladin alts I've made over the years!
I consider myself lucky for stashing the wotlk event Paladin armor in my bank without realizing how valuable it would be as a transmog later on. It became my main outfit as a result for my Paladin from then on and since it didn't have a helmet i often used Crown of Empowered Fate to go with it.
I'd like to see what the most sought-after armor pieces/sets would be for the other armor types. I assume Xavius' shoulders from Emerald Nightmare would be included in the Top 10 Leather pieces.

Theoretically you can endlessly farm tokens and buy bonus rolls and keep rolling on Garrosh. I did this myself. I killed the bastard 1500 times within the span of a month. The clip of me getting the drop is actually posted on my channel if anyone is interested lol.
What's the difference between Garrosh and players with the transmog of the Tusks of Mannoroth? They are wearing the armor of somebody they defeated, not their daddy ;p
I made my own Blood Knight set for my BE Pally, long before the official transmog set was released. I used mostly Dark Iron pieces from Vanilla, plus a few Burning Crusade items. I stopped playing retail a few years ago, so my toons aren't visible in the Armoury. I got a lot of compliments for it though!
I would like to add the ensamble: fuberary plate of the chosen dead, specially the mythic version since its not longer fully obtainable some pieces do drop.

The Dreadnaught set does look like a budget version of the Lich King, but the Dreadwyrm set in Legion (Death Knights' tier set) looks even more like the Lich King when you use the Mythic version of the gear.
Yeah that’s messed up to me. People spent potentially dozens to hundreds of hours farming that.. now it’s too easy. And guaranteed. I got mine during MoP while running for the heirlooms. I got lucky, so I’m not whining for me.. besides I always use my golden king set from MoP
I like tusks because, it’s simply one of the best orc style mogs. I rock mine with season 1 BFA rated pvp gear, regular heritage orc chest piece and lastly the plunder lord eye patch or the ancient wolf cowl from emerald dream.
People were still skipping to Garrosh before the built-in skip. A lot of Tusks farmers simply saved a lockout on Heroic with Garrosh alive and kept extending it so they could farm just him hundreds of times per week. The new skip just made it more convenient instead of having to pass around a lockout.
2.8 million gold for dreadnaught is such BS. Keep the 1400 phylacterweave requirement but give the bosses a chance to drop them, even if it were garunteed 1 per boss it would still take over 100 runs to farm enough for the set
