I think this could be a possible, not impossible outcome, with the X-wing firing at blind spots and eventually severely damaging the Enterprise... Hardpoint-wise tho there are some details that concerned me: The NX polarized armour is simulated with a really powerful shield, more than what it should be (for the record, if it's the same NX hardpoint, 4000 shield strength, capable of withstanding 6 or 7 TNG photon torpedoes before collapsing)... which brings us to the second point The X-Wing KX9 laser cannons on the game are also more powerful than what they should be. Same with the Rebel starfighter shields, the weapons of the NX-01 should have crippled, if not destroyed, the X-Wing on contact. _________________________ Also lol mirror maneuver.
My understanding is Sensors govern accuracy, the more power they have the more accurate they are. I noticed in an older video that when his sensors or power was damaged and he had way less power in sensors as a result his accuracy fell through the floor.
The NX Class vs the X Wing reminds me of when I took a fleet of Klingon Bird of Prey against a Cylon Basestar and 7 Raiders. Fighters really are hard to hit.
@@cowsagainstcapitalism347 I'm going to have to doubt that one. Even if the Klingons aren't as stellar as Starfleet when it comes to their engineering, I doubt the Cylons would be able to hack their computer systems, especially with shields up. Bare in mind that these Cylon vessels have no shields what so ever and would have no way to detect a cloaked vessel. The disruptosrs from a few Bird of Prey alone would tear right through the hull, and the torpedoes would be taking chunks out. Quite frankly the Cylons would probably really struggle against any ships post-Enterprise era. Phasers would easily slice the hull. Like the Colonials and the Cylons wouldn't really stand much of a chance in the late 22nd Century onwards. The only technologies either have any edge in are their jump drives and the Cylon's biological integration, with the later possibly keeping them safe from something like a Breen Dampener, but the Jump Drives really give them all a good exit strategy that Klingons would definitely not be able to follow up on, because not even Starfleet could pull that off.
@@cryptkeeperthe9634 One advantage the Cylons would have, though, is that because they lack shields, their ships are made to take a hit. Star Trek ships, on the other hand (TOS and later), were made with shields in mind. As a result, they can take less without shields than a Colonial or Cylon ship (look at the D7, Galaxy, and D'deridex classes). The shields, though, would still make it easy for any post-Ent Star Trek ship to beat any of the new Battlestar Galactica ships (except maybe a Mercury class if it gets out the initial volley from its main batteries), as you said.
0:46 If Captain Archer has a Motley Crue, his first order is to knock em dead, kid. The NX-01 likes the sound effects; it's a primal scream that's louder than hell. If they get destroyed, the Motley Crue has pondered "if I die tomorrow...". They are trying to explore the galaxy, though. I mean just look at those starry eyes...
I know it's a game and likely hard to balance for lore accuracy especially when entering in craft and weapons not native to Star Trek. However, I'm pretty sure even the NX's torpedoes and phase cannons, yes those aren't actual phasers yet, would both be enough to kill or severely maim an X-wing with a single shot. During the enterprise series we see the NX destroy whole asteroids and tear smaller ships apart, even destroyed a small to medium sized mountain when they overloaded the weapon after first installing it. Still cool fight though, and I can chalk up inaccuracies to the game itself.
So as an honest assessment I believe it would be more difficult not impossible but definitely more difficult for the nx01 Enterprise to Target smaller fighter craft we saw this in the example of the Romulan probe that could cloak and assume different appearances the targeting scanners had a hard time getting a lock the same with the phase cannons they had difficulty tracking very small agile targets. Now with that disclaimer out of the way I do not believe that an X-Wing would be able to tank several direct hits let alone one of a concentrated phase Cannon blast to its hell unless the wing got clipped other than that one hit would be more than enough to take it out. As for the x-wings firepower versus the nx-01 Enterprise I doubt the laser cannons would be enough to take out the Enterprise a well-placed proton torpedo hit could do some serious damage but against the ship with even whole plating I would say you would probably need a good squadron of x wings to potentially have the possibility of taking out a pre federation era ship that didn't have shields
The other ship was Columbia. It was hiding phase shifted within your ship the whole time. 😜
That was the maneuver they did when Captain Archer and Lorian were fighting the kovaalan ships in the delphic expanse.
Using actual feats from both, the X wing would do zero damage, though it’s fun

It's the Columbia doing the sensor mirror maneuver.
Ah! That makes perfect sense. 😃

Klingons would survive exactly zero seconds against Cylons.
@@cowsagainstcapitalism347 I should add that they were the 2003 reimagining Cylons, so no lasers or such, just nukes and bullets.
@@cryptkeeperthe9634 the strongest Klingon from any era would not stand a chance against the weakest Cylon from any era

My instinct is a single phase canon or photon torpedo hit would destroy an X Wing. So the NX would win 9 out of 10 battles with an X wing.
Looks like the key to winning with the X-wing is to fly close and avoid the enemy's weapons as best you can!

The Enterprise's phaser blasts are the equivalent of shooting an e-web repeating blaster cannon. Q was definitely having fun with you guys
In dont know much about the NX class, but the targeting sensors on later ships would pick off fighters in no time.
I'm curious how a bunch of fighters would do against a swarm of shuttlecraft dogfight style
One X-Wing? Great. We're saved.
It might've been Q, or that thing that split Voyager in two (the episode with the Vidiians where Harry Kim and baby Naomi Wildman die).
This was very cool, but clearly not representative of how it would really go. An X-Wing is as fragile as it is maneuverable.
I noticed the X wing's shields were regenerating really quickly
That phaser misfire is rather a waste of game resources (seriosuly all beam weapons always hit).
of course the NX is the better ship. It has a toilet and a shower for starters
A y-wing or a b-wing would be a better choice as they were the rebel ship killers.
Even this version of the Enterprise wins!

Again ☹️…. The last episode of Enterprise was terrible.
@@RetroBadgerGaming I tend to imagine it didn't happen
Can you take an X Wing with the Delta Flyer?
This battle is more beleavable than the defiant falcon battle.....but still. Xwing shouldn't really win lol
I guess the NX-01's spirit was leaving in anticipation of being destroyed.
Haha!
Nx 01 is pretty bad, but not lose to x wing bad...
X wing vs federation peregrine fighter

wow, what's game is this?
Star Trek Bridge Commander
This mod makes phasers so inaccurate 😹
For the record I resent McCray's cheesy racial slur
The Enterprise is still the best out of them 2 only reason is because the Enterprise has woman on board and a bed the x-wing doesn't 😆
Perhaps the phantom enterprise was E2
This is bull$#/+ the NX 01 would have destroyed that X wing with the first shot...
"X Wings have shielding" LOL. Shields do not exist in Star Wars. Sure, they're mentioned, but never shown. No ship in Star Wars has shields.
Ever played X-wing or Tie-Fighter, or X-wing vs Tie Fighter?
