Hi Angels! It’s been a while since my last French Art school vlog so I was excited to take you all to school with me for a little day in my life! It’s definitely one of my favorite type of videos to make because I feel like this college is so special- a truly. creative environment full of such inspiring Art students and teachers. I’m so happy to be able to share this journey with you and give a little look in to this French art world that you might not other wise get. As always everything is subtitled in French/English! Special thanks to all the performers, Artists and NMT collective (their socials linked below) for letting me film and share the event on my channel. I also took you all along with me to Montmartre to get some fabric for my diploma, wander around Paris a bit and just have a really nice spring day together. I was having trouble falling asleep as I was randomly attacked with a lot of anxious thoughts running through my mind about EVERYTHING that came out of nowhere...you know, the ones that convince you you're alone, and that everything is bleak, etc. I texted a few friends to ground me and remind me that everything I was thinking was not reality, and since I still couldn't get to sleep even though I was reminded that the thoughts in my mind weren't the truth, I decided to watch your videos to distract me from my mind.
This video brought joy and light amidst the dark thoughts I was having, thank you so much for creating this art!!!

I love certain styles from the 50’s all the way up until now but I mostly like when they play off of each other and finding certain pieces that evolve from other style eras and putting outfits together using them. It also helps that I’m super thrifty and cheap so whatever I get at thrift stores I can make into cohesive outfits. I love this video and I love your mouse story, thank you for this!

I adore the style of the late 60's that is so colorful, yet classy. I love the bright patterns and playfulness.
the marché st pierre clips reminded me of the times my dad and I would go there to buy fabric and then we would go home and make dresses while he showed me how he worked... such a sweet memory, thank you for reminding me of it...

favorite era for american fashion has to be late 60’s to early 80’s with some odd 90’s trends mixed in (such as baggy jeans and platform shoes) but also love the hair looks from the 50’s-60’s so much 🤘🏻✌🏻🖤
40-50s is my favorite! I wish I was able to love the “cooler looks” that are popular now but I feel most comfortable in Greaser clothes-high waisted jeans, pants, with tied up button downs and tennis shoes. Hugs from Portland OR!

II loved 1980s-2000s they had an amazing aesthetic. yet I’m attracted to the 1950s fashion and vibes .

I know this is so late but as someone mentioned style-wise the instagram baddie look is definitely a trend for the 2010s, BUT there's always counter-movements too right! So like you said, it's hard to figure out what exactly it is as it's happening but I see a lot of like vintage revival happening drawing inspiration from the 80/90s amongst students in my area - denim jackets in every single colour, culottes, wearing dresses with a tshirt underneath, a kind of modernised mom jean paired with shoes that are more trendy like wearing mom jeans with dressier heels or those big fila trainers.
I think the 2010s have been very "athleisure" overall, but I also think that more alternative styles have also become very accessible because of the internet. I love seeing how empowered women are too show as much skin as they want without fearing judgement. So I see a lot of mesh, see through fabrics with bodysuits underneath. I've seen a lot of platform trainers, sandals, boots. More people are stepping outside of the box, people are mixing and matching styles and being adventurous so I'm excited to see what emerges!

My favorite era is probably the 80s but when it comes to fashion I love a lot of different eras like the 70s, the 80s, the 90s but also like I think Victorian/Edwardian fashion is pretty cool you know with like the baroque chemisier that are all fluffy with the cute collars and the long sleeves that cover your hands a bit and look all witchy 😍

. Hilarious at the Lizzie McGuire reference for early 2000s fashion. I'm the same age as the actors, so that the style I used to covet, but my mum never really gave in and bought me those clothes :(
In terms of my fave era for fashion is the 1970s. I'm all about tailored clothes with exaggerated parts, like a bell sleeve or bell bottom.
I would describe 2019 style as retro-futuristic. Were definitely playing with styles from past eras, but there is an element of style that looks futuristic ( or at least how futuristic fashion is depicted in a lot of films, like the fifth element for instance ) let's see what happens in 10 years though

I like the 80s style and the 40s, but the majority of my clothes arent even my preferred style because i cant find anything like it from the basic stores. Ive started to thrift so hopefully i find more 80s themed clothes.
I think the look of this time is mostly wearing sports clothing and brand clothing. But I’m not sure though! I think if ya wanna know what the mainstream look is, you have to visit high school maybe, because most of the pupils tryna go with the flow of the mainstream I guess. Interesting question!

Just researching online for fine art schools in the Paris area! My school is not a university, it is an école supérieure which is a specialized art school and you have to pass exams to enter (I made a video about this called “my art portfolio and how I got in to art school”) cheers xx
