- Опубликовано: 11 июн 2024
- The Aspark SP600 is officially the Fastest Electric Hypercar in the World, reaching a top speed of 438.7kph. Born for speed, this production-intent electric hypercar was conceived by the vision of Aspark's CEO Masanori Yoshida, and enhanced by the bespoke Potenza Race tyres from Bridgestone.
The SP600’s world record was achieved by professional driver and Nürburgring 24h winner Marc Basseng, and it was captured by the GPS-based high-precision Racelogic V-Box provided by the ATP proving ground in Papenburg.
M.A.T. has developed and manufactured the SP600 to set a new benchmark for EV hypercars, while marking a significant achievement for the company at the time of its 10-year anniversary.
Watch the Aspark SP600 break the World’s Speed Record for EV and read the press release for more details on this incredible feat.

WELL done, now for 500km/h.....
Working on it!
Great comment and even greater reply.
@@ManifatturaAutomobiliTorino has gear ratio changed compared to "regular" Owl?
Ask michelin for tyres...
@@Tosix98 is that also used in original Owl?
imagine going at 300km/h in the autobahn and seeing a car passing by like if you were standing still....
Not if i'm going in a Rimac or a Regera or a Chiron or etc.
And to top it all off you didn’t hear it coming.
That's an insane sensation. I was overtaken by a Porsche on the Autobahn while doing 235km/h myself. It looked like I was standing still.
First of all this is not a production car. Its a race car made for track top speed. To have a car can go to the road and make this top speed needs a lot of effort.
@@alekosalekadis6095 Thank you. Too many people already think this is a road going car.
We are very proud of this performance. Special thanks to Bridgestone for the outstanding support
@@carlospacheco8640 the track is not owned by Volkswagen. this was on the atp test track in Papenburg. this facility is independent from any manufacturer
This is Volkswagen facility? It was Natrax....
An electric car going 400+ is basically a bullet train on the road😁
MagLev trains also do similar speed. Shanghai MagLev an aging two decade old daily commuter ridden train. Just happens to have a max operational speed of 431km/h soo very similar.
@@NeojhunFYI currently the shanghai maglev operates at 300 kmph

The Driver is the same guy who drove Pagani Zonda R at the Nordschleife years ago and put incredible lap back then.
That driver's name is Basseng
272 mph for anyone on the other side of the pond.
I'm more familiar with cubits per moment (cpm). What would that be?
What’s a moment. I once gave my girl a cubit zirconia bracelet and she cried for like ten minutes. I’m really wealthy and she cried from laughing so hard. Also because I had pooped it out of my own tight ass. Which was really funny. I must confess that I cried a bit whilst producing that cubit zirconia misterpiece. That was because of a little bleeding, but then that turned to crying from laughing about my future joke to be cast upon my girl. Still, is a moment like that painting in that Sister Chapel? Or is it on the French Louvers? Why do they paint blinds anyway? And I thought per is what cats do? I don’t get all that fancy talk anywayz.
So cheap jewelry comfortable sounds on a painting on the back window of a Camaro? Y’all are too weird. And why murder a meter? Why send a meter? Why minimize a meter? What did the meters do to you? It’s only a dance beat. Good grief. So I disco dance to death metal. What’s the big deal? How about call it the number of fields you cross between the cock crowing and high noon by the sun? Now that’s a way to count how good a hand you are while harvesting or sowing. Call FBHD, Fields By Half Day. It’ll change a little each day, but who’s counting?
@@flipadavis its when you feel a little cupit...
... And I feel a little stupid~
For normal people.
Thank you
the driver always smiles because he knows he will do it😮
I love how this car accelerates, goes 300 km/h, accelerates further, 400 still accelerates with great power, it is not like in combustion cars that at certain speed it starts to lose acceleration and every second the speed changes by 0.1 km/h, this thing keeps accelerating, it's amazing :)
You can be sure Mate Rimac is going "Hold my beer". Thats what I want to see - POV footage at 438 kph. This is the closest one can get to being a fighter pilot while still on the ground.
I think on the track not a legal road car.rimac legal road car..😊
@@Spiritwordss I think it is road legal
This is prototype. Not a road going production car like the Nevera. Thus is has not broke the Nevera's legitimate record.
But that's impressive for a small company like Aspark@@carlospacheco8640
Now do the reverse wr
I have never heard of this car brand, my utmost respect for this record! Well done M. A. T.!
Their first car was Aspark Owl
Its japanese
Never heard of this vehicle till today after seeing a GTPlanet article. Awesome achievement everyone the cars awesome. 🏁
Well done MAT and Aspark… this is an astonishing feat!
I’ve been a big fan of the Owl since 3rd grade. Awesome work!
The top speed isn't even the most impressive part of this feat. It's the car's ability to keep climbing at 400+km/h like it just passed 60km/h. That's some beastly acceleration right there
🔥🔥🔥
That front end owl look works so well!! I absolutely love this car!
❤❤❤
This car is faster than the rimac. Ive never heard of this brand, but congrats. This company deserves more subscribers. So I'm subscribing.
Edit: We need someone to post this on google, I don't see it yet
♥♥♥
Have a race with Gas Monkey Garage Ford GT 👀 510km/h
Gotta love how the driver was smiling the entire time :)
Wow, accelerating as fast as my own car, but while already doing 300kph. What a time to be alive for engineering like this!
Great video. Finally no music ( in the important one). Too bad VW didn't make a video of the Veyron's record runs in exactly this style. And it would have been great to hear the V16 engine roar high. This car sounded like a fighter jet and cool too :) You just missed the fact that the music used is exactly the same kind as the Veyron, or the Koenigsseg.
I hope you guys can redo this in the production version (also the normal Aspark Owl top speed and acceleration test would be cool too).
I love these guys' work, I hope you put yourselves on the map among the greats
❤❤❤
Nope, that car pushed past 438 probably over 445 too. Pretty impressive car too
ye it was definitely still climbing but they ran out of track
Fantastico risultato ragazzi orgoglioso di voi! Un applauso anche al team Bridgestone!!
I'll definitely be watching out for what you are creating in the future, this is awesome work, wish you the best of luck
Thank you for your support! There's more to come :)
I’m impressed. Well done! It would be great to see more absolute performance from
Your car.
I'm so happy to see Aspark not on Asphalt 9 but in real life
Wow great work
Impressive speed!
Well done Marc!!!!
What a great team! Congrats Aspark🎉
I was so worried for him to crash! Just insane speed. Also I think I have never seen a hood this low to the ground, bet it´s all functional but also looks cool
Aspark Co., Ltd. is a small company in Japan. 🎌
It isn't even a car manufacturer.
An astonishing feat.💯
I was waiting for the driver to receive a call on his dash mounted cell.
That is actually part of the v-box system, it serves as a gps!
So... what about 0-400 kmh sprint time?
It’s amazing to see a brand new car manufacturer break records awesome job guys!
Wikipedia: " the Owl [precursor to this A600] was publicly unveiled in concept form at the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show." Elon Musk: "prototypes are easy, production is 100x harder."
@@skierpage and Cyber Truck ''production car" falls apart after 30 miles
Incredible! First time I have heard of this!
Impressive!
My Congratulations!
Amazing to see such speeds in an all electric car! :)
The design is similar to the Corvette C7 I love it, it is beautiful 😍
looks more like a Corvette GTP
So great to see you guys still going. The Aspark Owl is by far my favorite electric hypercar and one of my favorite cars period. Bravo.
Same here, Electric hypercars have that new kind of design... :D
@@saponification. You know what's crazy? The Aspark Owl has actually been around for a good amount of time. I think it even pre-dates the Rimac Nevera. It's been the ultimate sleeper, like I never hear anyone talk about this car... until now. I'm glad everyone knows about it now.
💤💤💤
@@TheAtomTwister yes, Wikipedia says the Owl (precursor to this A600 evolution) was publicly unveiled in concept form at the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show, while the Rimac C_Two (later renamed Nevera) was unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. But Rimac has actually produced over 50 Neveras, while it's unclear how many Owls have been delivered. Lotus is also struggling to produce Evija with the claimed performance. We'll see how McMurtry gets on with its phenomenal Spéirling EV suction Batcar.
@@skierpage Yeah, McMurtry has found a way to drop the price on the Speirling below a million pounds, which is just unbelievable. From what I understand from someone who is about to auction off an Owl, only four were made of the planned 50. I don't know what happened with the Owl, but with a record like this being broken, I imagine they'll be getting much more attention.
Dope! Very competitive record. Huge to be able to break it!
🔥🔥🔥
Very impressive! Congratulations!
❤
Congratulations!
NICE, congratulations!!
❤❤❤
I love how settled it looks from start to finish despite looking pretty damn stripped
I would like to see a side by side race between Rimac and this company. The Nevera seems to get to speed quicker but this thing keeps going. The Nevera just needs a slightly longer gear ratio and it might be able to do the same, in previous testing it would actually bounce off it's speed limiter
Wow 😲, bloody impressive, what a thrill that would be 👍
Sounds like a rocket, I love it
Next challenge: 500 km/h!
First up 300mph. Then 500kph
Yeah. Thats fast. Ive done 260kmh in my modded S13 so 438.6kmh is some serious speed.
The car was so stable with minimal wind noise. Very impressive indeed and job well done! So, this is an Italian company with a Japanese CEO?
The vision for the Aspark SP600 was conceived by Aspark CEO Masanori Yoshida, while the project was developed and manufactured by M.A.T. :)
That’s 272mph for those wondering. Incredible.
If i am not wrong, this car has a 60kwh battery. This means a 30C discharge current at the highest power, which is not sustainable for long time as it will overheat badly. For track use, like in nurburgring, this car will have problems and will throttle down the power halfway or before. They achieved the world speed record because of the very low frontal cross sectional area. The car is extremely low.
That’s INSANE! He was already going 200 mph and then it just TOOK OFF!🔥🔥🔥
🔥🔥🔥
What an underrated car company, love your guys' cars now
Thank you so much ;)
Bring it to the good wood festival of speed
Aspark is a Japanese staffing agency that dispatches engineers to companies.
That was insane and magnificent only for the super track in the distant future.
What? No drive by or drone footage at top speed? I can't even imagine what that would look / sound like standing on the side of the road.
The smile at the driver's face says it all.
I imagine the steady acceleration is to drain the battery less quickly? Maybe to keep the car more stable, but its the perfect demonstration of a flat torque curve.
Aspark will get lots of recognition for this
It is already faster than the speed of the Shanghai maglev train 上海磁悬浮 in its daily operation (430kph) 🚄
that train does 300kph in its daily operation now btw (at least when I rode it a month ago). 431kph is its top speed i think
Well Done
The fact that the speedometer was still going up faster… 😳
Nice to the eye
Spettacolo un reattore ❤
The roll cage only on the drive side is like a funny car Cage.
That's a really fast golf cart powered by a very loud vacuum cleaner.
it was definitely still climbing at 438. It'll probably do 440+ if it had enough track. Allow more power to the motors and tune the gear ratios a bit and it might just do 500
also my boy looked so happy while driving 😆
Ain’t no one getting on his coat tail lol 😂
Chiron SS, Agera RS, Jesko etc. Would all pass him easily.
Congratulations 👏
congrats! 👏👏👏
thank you! ❤
Awesome, but the Nevera's record stands for production cars. This car is not street-legal and also not in production yet, even for track use. Only one exists as a protoype.
There is always one car at the beginning! This is how you start
At least this Is good Looking, i'm Sorry but the Nevera looks too bland
@@fqeagles21 the Aspark is good looking?? What are you on?
@@arhceus7649 still better than the Nevera, but the best Looking Is the Battista
With everything they would have to add to this to make it production. It would go much slower.
awesome❤ does it have a shiftable gearbox? if not, what was that "2" displayed on that at 0:23?
It seems like the automatic gears similar to Rimac Nevera
@@frankiefranklin9784 the Nevera has no gears. Each wheel gets its own independent inverter powering a motor driving a single-speed gearbox.
congratulations!
i love the aspark owl nice to see its now the fastest
Awsome! What power(kW) at max speed?
PERFECT JOB!!!...
I remember the time I went 439.2 kph. Man, that was 60 years ago
Heartly congratulations 🎉👏 all the very best for the upcoming
Btw if i would have had money i could be one of the investor of your's tbh lol
❤❤❤
Impressionante, bravi!
I want to see the braking from 438 before that banking.
Rimac: "I took this personally" 😂
Bravo MAT 👍🏻
Smooth as silk
It felt like the car could push more than 438 cause there was still an acceleration even then. Why didn't you push it any further?
not to mention btw how absolutely impressive that is!
As you can see on 2:23 the straight is finished, the track in coming on the steep embankment turn in about 300 meters and they need to shed the 438kmph speed as well....
cos have to slow the car to make the next bend
The Bugatti Chiron did a higher speed record, but then it's a combustion engine. I noticed the driver sweving the steering from left to right below 200kms, but after 200kms kept the steering straight. The car also sits well low to the ground and is very wide. Such interesting team this!!!
pretty sure he was just warming up the tires or smth
It's ok, you can put music on. No need to hear the car sound in this case.
Great achievement btw
For some reason every time he thought it was slow but he never pressed the electric pedal in the first place
Wooooooo go team ♥♥♥♥
Congratulations Riccardo! Fantastic to see.
That smile… that damned smile
Wow!
Secondo me è tutto merito del software...
diciamo ANCHE di quello ;)
very impressive! never done this year from any well known electric hypercar all is theoritical topspeed oh I think of rimac nevera and it has just defeated, I hope it will achieve 500kph , if it happened, this would be the new legend.
