Beautiful sugar Apple Deers eat everything ... What variety are your fig trees? SugarCane looks great ... Cranberry hibiscus is liking the heat and rains Malabar spinach reseeds itself
I thought that was you Carl... we talked a few months ago by email. You're the wood-chip guy who keeps getting loads from Asplundh. How funny that I keep finding you. We both live in the LW neighborhood. I live across the street from you, not in the blue house, but in another one 3 houses down, behind the subdivision sign.
@@GardeningSolutions I'm starting to get a little cabin fever. I guess this would be safe if we keep the distance. I promise I'll show up with a mask on. Let's play it by ear. If I didn't give you my email, here it is again: kentichy@gmail.com. Please send me a note as I can only talk to you by that "nextdoor" thing and I got fed up with them. :)
You need an electric fencing. Double fencing is a good idea. That's terrible. I would be so mad.😠 I've dealt with deer up here in GA. They targeted my yard cause I'm the only one in my subdivision with fruit trees. I did one layer of fencing and it worked. Let us know how the fencing work out. Good luck!
How do you winter your tropicals? I'm trying to learn how before winter gets here. Planing on pvc hoops with plastic and black buckets of water in the sun in them
I don't - survival of the fittest. There's a few things that dies back last year but they all grew back. Time will tell how everything handles a hard freeze, haven't had one here yet since starting the food forest.

Hi Dan, the figs that are doing the best are Nero and Brown Turkey. I have a total of 6 varieties around the property.

Hi Ken, yes I remember talking to you when I was selling plants. The offer for a property tour is still open, generally Sundays are best.
