I'm with you on that, I noticed that cameramen don't do Ateez justice when they perform with all the constant zoom in and zoom out and the random aerial shots.
It is so much better. In the performance whoever filmed was on something. It always happen with their performances and is so annoying. . In this point I would offer myself to work for them for free.

That’s not totally true. The rappers were live for the most part. Sunwoo from TBZ, and Changbin and Han from Skz specifically. I can’t quite tell with the other groups. Sounded like ikon was live for at least part of it. Ateez was definitely more live for sure, but the others did do some.

Look at their performance in a practice room; i cried the first 30 seconds because you can see how hopeless Hongjoong looks like when Hwa reaches to him; their ship is taken down, they're hurt and their captain can't do anything to help when the wave crashes them. Then you see range, anger and revenge in the captain's eyes and they raise from the ashes. And here aren't any lighting or cg, raw and pure talent to tell you a story with their bodies.
It's theatrical, it's out of this world. They're not highly praised and respected for nothing. This is how you capture everyone's attention.

i get shivers all over every time i watch this performance. the re-arrangement of wave is amazing, yes, but what gets me is the emotion pouring out of every move and facial expression. like honestly, two seconds in and we see hongjoong grieving over his dying teammates, looking up and facing the crashing wave with a terrified expression. it's insane how much of a storyline you can show in only ten seconds using only your body language. the rest of the members, now revived, show extreme fierceness and determination to live and push forward as one. the final formation, too. they're here to win.
the fact that all their title tracks are hard hitting but they STILL chose wave their only bright fun comeback to do for kingdom and completely altered it is KING BEHAVIOR STAN ATEEZ

The amount of times I’ve watched the full version and the dance practice amazes me how far they have come and the determination for their journey!! But also, I wondered when watching it, “Where’s Hongjoong at the end?” Y’all, he’s the step up for San! You can’t even see him for the end pose! To make it look good and that he ‘sacrificed himself’ to not be seen but help make the picture!! My heart!
This is why I Stan Ateez!!!! They’re the only group that makes music with a badass pump up beat, choreography is sick af && they’re all visuals.

The way they seemlessly combo'd these moves together is beyond belief, to the casual ATEEZ watcher most of these could've been glossed over due to the intensity. Kudos to whoever put these moves together in memory of the past dark and intense songs they've done in the past
