Get a Squier six string bass. It has a whammy, pickup selector switch, and is six strings. It is tuned like a guitar, and has a very thin neck.

+Daska noess I'm a rhythm guitarist and I use whammy bar tricks all the time. Just takes a little more creativity to put them in riffs.
Not even close to true, rhythm guitarists can use the whammy to great effect.
The whammy bar trick I always find myself playing is when I push down my whammy bar and my wah pedal down at the same time when I pluck the G string.it sounds so cool!!
