The fact Hawkins is incapable of driving to the hoop and getting rebounds is so frustrating at his size. Tang needs to replace these coaches for ones that can evaluate. If this continues he is done in another year. One frosh of any value on the team is ridiculous. Get hard-working high school kids, develop and reward, thereby creating leaders and loyalty.

I don’t see this team winning more than 4 games in conference. We played nothing but cupcakes in the non-conference. Reality is really going to set in when conference games start.
The coverage was realistic and fair. If you can’t see improvement you need to get eyes. He says multiple times it wasn’t enough. Which is true. What do you want him to say?

I'm not sure why it takes 3 blah losses and a 20 point deficit in a de facto home game to get the team to amp up the D.

I disagree. They came back and got the game into overtime. Hard loss tho. Very sad.
Big disagree. While we dug ourselves a huge hole, we fought back quite a bit, lots of effort and good basketball in that second half.
