Hello guys I hope you're All fine. This is part of my story. I know it's equated to many your stories. I hope by airing it out well get to help each other and get to explore the second phase of life though its so hard.
Am Eldin Priscus. I was brought forth in a humble background deep in a certain shanty village. Brought up under the care of my old grandmother. My parents had separated soon after I was born. It was due to some domestic feud and disagreement. I was the unlucky beneficiary if this incident as the both abandoned me and they fled to one of the cities in Kenya. That's what I'm always told by my grandmother.
I saw her scratch from the soil as she tried to grow what I believed could be the determinant of whether we could survive or not. Despite All the struggle, I managed to do My KCPE from some public school in Gusii. I was selected to join the starehe boys center after scoring 426 marks. I tried to seek for public sponsorship but I was unlucky. I remember trying to knock several banks that I'd been advised but I was only told to go home and wait for their call. Something that never happened. I was lucky to find a well wisher who decided to cater for my studies. I was lucky to join the Nyambaria boys highschool. With the support and my grandmother's prayers and encouragement. I was able to attain a KCSE grade of A-. My sponsor offered too to support me as I joined the Presbyterian University of East Africa to study Bachelor's degree in Nursing. This only lasted for one year. My sponsor was unfortunately involved in in a deadly accident accident that claimed his life. Left with my grandmother who had great expectations in me. Not knowing how to even explain to her that we're back to nothing. I've tried to knock different officials houses for support but no person to heed to my call. Out of depression, my fellow friends have helped me begin a RUclips channel The Star Media Channel. I've been getting support to get support from my friends in buying a camera. They're too helping me on how to create some content as I try this part of my life. The unexpected. I'd like to get support and get a way to support my grandmother's needs and if All goes well, I may be able to complete My Nursing course and be of help in serving Humanity.
