    I like Doug Jones! When I was a kid I like two of the characters he played and I didn't know they were played by the same person! :)

    Could you include what you used in the video and how long you had to wait? I'm curious as to what the green stuff and purple colored stuff. Thanks

    Watching in 2018. loved it. I like the goofing around 😊👍🏼. Just curious, why didn‘t you leave space for the earholes, isn‘t it important as nose holes?

    Hi, what material do you use for the head and shoulder bust after you do the lifecast? What is best for making the shoulder and head bust for sculpting? Not plaster. Lighter material

    • @SidneyCumbie
      @SidneyCumbie  Год назад +1

      Plaster aka hydocal or ultracal is usually the cheaper standard. But if you are looking for a lighter weight you have 1000s of options. Are you Sculpting for Prosthetics? Foam or silicone.. if it's foam you are limited because you need a high heat plastic, if silicone you just need a durable plastic like 1630 polyurethane. You can do a pretty thin layer with a plastic and back it with a foam. Best bet is to call and talk with reynolds advanced materials

      Thank you for the advice. I want it to be for sculpting with Monster Clay. I like to sculpt Batman and some monster/Halloween things as well. I have sculpted on plaster before and don't care for it. I like the "Ed Head" or CFX head but I had a lifecast done of my head and shoulders and want to make my own head forms for sculpting and display purposes.

    For separation a use high value colored vaseline, so you can see with much more eas were you have put it. And i leave the ´´victim´s´´ mouth open so i get a very good copy from the nose and nose holes.

    out of curiosity... you said in the beginning that you shouldn't have listened to someone else and went with your gut, what exactly was the bad advice?

    • @SidneyCumbie
      @SidneyCumbie  8 лет назад +1

      body double silk doesn't need a release at all ... I was convinced to use one and it was a dumb mistake because you don't need one and doesn't work with a release
