@@alaskaguyd963 look at it this way, Denver could arguably have John Elway as their greatest draft pick ever.... except they didn't draft him they traded for him. Does that mean Elway was their greatest trade or their greatest draft pick or their greatest player?
The question wasn't who is the greatest player for every team, the question was who was the greatest draft pick. To me the greatest draft pick was the one they got the most value out of.
Here's another one to chew on, Matt Ryan is listed as Atlanta's greatest draft pick. And I think that's a fair choice, but honestly the greatest player to ever be a Falcon draft pick was Deion Sanders and it's not even close IMO. However because Atlanta only kept him for 5 years or so his value as a draft pick was some what wasted for them.
Again it's about the greatest pick not the greatest player and the greatest pick is the one that gave the most value to the team.
Whichever team drafted Ryan Fitzmagic 🎅 is the winner, hands down. 🥇🌟
Josh Allen will be the Bil'ls better pick in a few years, Derrick Henry of the Titans
Bruce Matthews never missed a game due to injury and was an excellent long snapper.
The Eagles drafted Mississippi State halfback Michael Haddix at #8.
He has the worst YPC in NFL history.
Adrian Peterson not the best pick??
Nah, I would even put Alan Page instead of Tarkenton, but Tarkenton was revolutionary. Id say without Tarkenton we would never have Mike Vick, Wilson, Lamar, and only have Drew Brees and Tom Brady kind of players at QB.
I'm not a broncos fan but Terrell Davis is the only running back in history to have a 2000 yard season and a superbowl win so I don't know how Shannon Sharp is considered a better player I disagree
Bart Starr over Aaron Rodgers, he was a 15th Round pick LMAO
Deacon Jones is great, dont get me wrong, but for the Rams it's defenitely Aaron Donald
Hell no
Do some research buddy.
I feel like this video for the Rams will need to change to Aaron Donald soon.
Barry Sanders is the greatest RB in NFL history, put him behind the Cowboys line in the 90s and he would have had a 3000 yard season.
Walter Payton didn’t disappear 🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡🤡😂
1 Barry Sanders, 2 Walter Payton, 3 Jim Brown, 4 Emmitt Smith, 5 OJ Simpson.
I watched all of their careers, except Browns, including Simpsons 2003 yard season.
@@rayjames6096 OJ did that in 14 games and on a horrible Buffalo team that the opposition defense knew the run was coming which made it even more incredible
@@AlwaysHalloween000 He was a great running back and then he became a double murderer.
Who knew a 6th round pick would win 7 super bowls. That was one hell of a pick.
Larry should have been in Minnesota but that being said i was rooting for him no matter what team he was on as a native from my city loved watching him succeed
Matt Ryan over Deion Sanders? Over Julio Jones? Mannnn
Deion only played 4 years with the Falcons. Julio Jones is definitely a respectable choice though
yeah i don't know what they were thinking
The disrespect to Julio Jones is outstanding
Vikings should be Randy Moss
The John Elway disrespect is crazy
Never played for the team that drafted him
Mahomes is good but Derrick Thomas is one of the best pass rushers of all time and it is down right disrespectful to not put him on this list
Lord knows I have nothing but respect and love for Sweetness aka Walter Payton, but I might have to give a slight edge to Duck Butkus for best Chicago Bear.
Not a bad choice with Montana, but Rice is the clear best 49er.
Deion Sanders was the best Falcon’s decision
I mean, I'm only 6 teams in, but it seems like they're just listing the best players for each team, not the best draft picks. Picking someone #1 overall and then having them be a really good player is not that impressive. Getting someone in the fourth round or whatever who turned out to earn multiple Pro Bowls - now THAT's a great draft pick, even if he didn't turn into a Hall of Famer.
I was thinking bo Jackson for the raiders, LT for the chargers, randy moss for the Vikings, earl Campbell for the titans, and either Aaron Donald or Steven Jackson for the rams.
Shannon Sharpe 7th rounder being a teams top pick that picked Elway is nearly Brady like
I just posted music😳🔥
broncos never picked elway, got him in a trade
Broncos didn't draft Elway. but i agree, Sharpe set the mould for TEs to be elite. Von Miller makes a good case too, but his career's not over yet.
@@svt80221 I'd put Terrell Davis, MVP, regular season and superbowl, two time SB champ. career just got cut short by injury. 6th rounder.
@@loganwolverine2573 if TD didn't hustle after that tackle... if he played another 5 years healthy, he would have been in debates for top 3 greatest RBs of all time.
6:27 THROWS!
Would love to see a non QB list
As big of a Cowboys homer as I am I have to say the leading all-time rusher 3x SB champ #22 Emmitt Smith has to be no. 1 for Cowboys
How the hell is Fran tarkenton better than randy moss, Randy’s could possibly be the greatest wide receiver in history
4 superbowl appearances
@@kelvingavin9519 yeah he played in like the 1700s of course he’s gonna have some rings back then freak athletes didn’t play
Is that his fault? They will say the same thing about ya boy in year 2222
@@kelvingavin9519 it’s not his fault but back then was a much easier era moss played against some of the best players and teams ever
@@kelvingavin9519 Those SB appearances were all predicated on defense.. Tark is beyond brutal historically in the playoffs.. Fran is the reason they never won those SB's - 11 TD's/17 INT's and a 55 QB rating in his playoff career..
Dion not being the Falcons greatest pick ever is a crime. Matt R. may have stayed longer, but BEST pick they made, not top 3
LOVE Shannon, but even though he hasn't retired yet, it HAS to be Von without a doubt
All of these guys are in and will be in the hall of fame
Derrick Thomas was the Chiefs best pick
MVPruclips.net/video/a1j9owBuwdQ/видео.html
Lol your delusional. Patrick Mahomes won a championship. Thomas did not
Knew Mr. Brown and Mr. Sanders would be our number 1.
So what’s up with the Washington Generals 😂 and the Browns bro they last best pick was literally 60, 70, 80, 90yrs ago😂😂😂
Matt Ryan edging out the second-best defensive player of all time is profane. Give Primetime his flowers.
Prime only played for the Falcons for 4 years though
Deion overrated as hell. Matt Ryan has been way more valuable to the Falcons.
Patriots’ best draft pick was clearly N’Keal Harry🤷
The best of the best, the master Aaron Rodgers AR12 #GoPackGo 🏈
honesltly i think the vikings one should be Randy Moss or AP, but i could be wrong
I would have chosen aaron donald for rams, bobby wagner for seahawks, drew brees for saints, and jerry rice for 49ers.
Drew Brees was drafted by the chargers
