Woo I like.. 😆tongue twister bloopers 👍
Have a good day 🌻🌻😉
yep sometimes I struggle bhahhah...if you could only see how I stumble over my words sometimes...nothing I do is scripted so it's all on the fly..sometimes funny stuff flies out! bhahhaha
I've got the smaller boom sprayer from Northern Tool. Works great! I use the lawn mower to pull it. I think it's around 25 gallons. I got it 2 years ago and still works great for liquid fertilizer, 2-4D, and just water to water the lawn or flower beds well away from where the the nearest well and faucet.
Love me some 2,4-D.
Glad I finally found this video. Had to search a lot. YT should push this one up in the search rankings. Great info, thanks! I've been looking at the model one size smaller.
I also appreciate the fact that you have your own original, self recorded ,theme song….how cool is that,,,,whooooooooo!
🥀 Josh you’ve done great with this channel ‼️ proof is in the sponsor ,Northern Tool ‼️ Woooooooooo
Thanks...yep Northern Tool is awesome!
Northern Tool = China !!
@@stevewhyte8476 you don't have anything that's made in China? It's kind of hard to avoid.
@@Hatfield_Country Like you say, hard to avoid. A good resource for good old American implements is farm auctions.
@@stevewhyte8476 if ya find anything that’s made in America it’s usually built with Chinese parts.
Oh my lord; timely video. I spread 3/4 stone on my driveway last Fall - by hand wheelbarrow ugh. Not nearly as long a drive as yours, but still back breaking hauling by hand. Time to tackle that wayward grass in the driveway. Love Northern Tool. 👍
Perfect. I'm looking for a system like this soon. Great to see how this one works. Thanks for sharing Josh.
Why wouldn't you use glyphosate? It's one of the safest/ effective choices. I'd use RM 43 for extended control or just use some glyphosate and pramatol
I’m doing weed control tomorrow here on Russell’s Farm looks like it’s time to trade in my 15 gallon sprayer and free up the back of my side by side. Thanks Josh as always awesome job
Love tool Tuesday!! And love them bloopers at the end... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Have a good day up on the Stoney Ridge Farm!!!
I got the littler cousin to that from Orscheln (now Tractor Supply I think) last summer. Just 10’ width of spray and 25-gal tank. Less parking and narrower driveway! Not having an atv, I pull it behind the riding mower. Pretty easy way to get spray functionality without breaking the bank.
Hello Stoney u r great I learn more english when I see your videos so u r my english teacher and love your all videos so my heart more respect for u thanks
I have a boom less, it sprays about 35' wide. I really like it.
I like the spring loaded booms i have been known to knock a few booms off
Hey josh. Good vid. Just did the same thing with my 3point sprayer. Weeds in the driveway drive me nuts.
Thanks for sharing nice sprayer take care
In the next couple of days I’ll be doing the same spraying the driveway here as well 👍🏼
Josh 🇺🇲 I really enjoyed this tool Tuesday I really enjoyed the bloopers at the end WOOOOOO 🇺🇲
I like the front end loader on the 4 wheeler....
Some time ago I sold those products. At least I tried. In the suburban setting our shop was in the market for such items was very limited. I guess there are the spray bottles as an alternative.
Looks like Great Northern has included the “must haves” on a sprayer…..😎
Nice loader wheeler
Hello from Columbus OH. Nice setup
Love it keep it up hey the boomless sprayer from northern works great too
Love the bloopers Josh
Hello from Minnesota! Might need a setup like this for food plots in the future. Not sure I will spray them at this point though.
Thanks man this is what I needed
Do you spray the same on your grass lawn to kill weeds
I don't spray my lawn since we graze pastured poultry out on the grass. If you're managing your lawn..aka..not bagging the clippings and using appropriate fertilizers if applicable, you shouldn't have weeds unless you have an imbalance. Remember your weeds are telling you what your lawn needs. Build the soil, build the enviroment in your lawn for grass and you'll have less weeds. I only spray the parking areas and driveway since it's a "grass/weed free zone" and no animals are grazed on them
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer Im still learning the process of maintaining the lawn. Thanks for the tip
i have a set up like this on the 3 point hitch of my 750 deere and like it very well
Any thoughts on torching for weed control...recently, I've been trying that out... seems to work really well for small stuff...would like to look into a tractor attachment for larger scale...
nice unit
gotta admit it, that gate is pretty sharp
Maybe I missed it but did you ever do a video on the 4 wheeler loader after the install?
Hey Josh,
Am I just imagining things, or have you review a larger 3-point sprayer is the past? I like this smaller unit for sure.
Love the channel man! Been debating one of these smaller sprayers for our 5 acres.
What was that nifty zip tie snipper you had there. looks like it got a nice close cut instead of leaving sharp edges.
I hope you can mill the posts and beams for the barndominium/shop. How cool for an intern to make a wage, graze animals and stock lumber to graduate and add value. Swedish homestead built a raised bed garden jig. Great use of sawdust and wood chips, between the rows. Will you run chicken tractors or a chickshaw with netting?
Watch out them words will get you 😂😂
Josh should end by saying "Elvis has left the building"
Are you doing a live tonight my friend?
Don't have Northern Tool and Equipment! near me only Harbor Freight Tools
Does it work with asphalt sealant
I like watching your videos do you bale hay eny more
That stuff you sprayed kill everything it touches? Or is it a select killer. I'm trying to get rid of an infestation of sandburs in my field but dont wanna kill my grass. Ive been using pendulam and target plus (msma)
Is there a coupon code for Northern tool? I could not find the link for the product you sprayed?
Didn't you have an RTV sprayer, that you used behind Gator ?
what could be safer than glyphosate?!?
I wondered the same thing...
👍 Looks like you have a lot of spray mix left! What will you do with it?
So how is the handling on that atv since you put that loader install on it? I would think going down the great NC mountains would be a little nerve racking.
I mean EPA isn't exactly thrilled with spraying a non controlled turf area but the further north ya go the less sense is made.
Hey josh do you have any videos of the atv FEL in use? I dont think I've seen you use it.
When are you going to build your garage that you were getting ready for
when the value of a dollar actually buys a dollar's worth of construction material instead of 15 cent worth. Takes real hard work and money to build this place, probably build the shop and barndominium home at the same time
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer Because I know you said that she was going to build one are you still going to build one
yes...but it aint gonna happen overnight...material prices are up 150%
Monarch really has very little info on their website about Lonarch chemical. What is it? Are there any other brands? How does it compare in cost to glyphosate?
You missed a couple spots..lol
Driveway=Rock garden
Hey Mr Stoney Ridge Farmer....we want to see MRS STONEY RIDGE FARMER!!! When will you be including her back into your videos again?????
Debbie...she has left again and been gone for over a month. I did a live stream and went into detail a few weeks ago. We've separated 8 times in the last 2 years..no more
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer didn't see the live stream. Sorry to hear that 😕
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer I appreciate honesty .. . it goes a long way.....i enjoy your channel ! ...peace from South-Africa.
I bought the 32 gallon model. It paid for itself the first time that I used it. My lawn is looking way better, now that I’ve been able to spray the weeds in it. I just tow it behind a Craftsman lawn tractor.
According to my calculations you have put about $2.6 million dollars in the farm so far, and you haven't built a house yet. What are you doing for income?
Great videos! We're sorta neighbors, do you like visitors?
Has anyone else used the Lonarch? I've used rm43 for years, but switched to 75% vinegar this year. It's to expensive for how much I have to spray. I'd like to give this a try, my wife worries about glypho.
Anything with extended control is expensive ie RM 43, pramatol ect. Just use glyphosate and spray every month
If your wife is wrongly worried about glyphosate just use atrazine and 2 4D
@@michaelknox3504 i used RM for years. still have around 3.5 gallons. just trying to find altrernatives.
I don't use 43 if there's much growth that's just wasting money. rm 43 is best used on new growth after an initial burn down. As long as the soil isn't disturbed you'll get close to a year of extended control of you get a good ground soak with application. It's very cost effective when used like that.
If you're not gonna get good ground coverage I wouldn't use it.
Last time I was this early diesel was less than two bucks, the CCP was afraid of us, and the President could put words together and form sentences.
I've been looking at that very sprayer for sometime now. Guess its in my near future. Walking my driveway with a pump up sprayer has gotten old.
bhahhah....way to work some politics into a tool review vid...I've seen some funny vids of what you're talking about...as a nurse I'm concerned about his health. All politics aside
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer Yeah, I'm concerned about his health too. Look at his replacement. LOL
You're right, Trump's been looking and acting very strange!!
The worst weeds sprout in Congress.
To be a fly on the wall when you’re shooting a video…
Lol
Never use it to water your animals after you put chemicals in the tank.
You missed a spot
I don't like those sprayers like that one. The spray boom is too high up. Look at all that spray drift in your video. You are missing like 70% of your product getting on your lawn.
did just fine my friend...but don't do this on a windy day.....the water falls down and no grass outside the driveway was sprayed
Just dropped in Josh... have you lost yourself to youtube fame... and now, your very wife?
