    Most Muslims in northern Thailand immigrated from the Yunnan Province of China when Over 100 years ago, I 'm muslim from southern Thailand, This is the region with the largest number of people in Thailand,There are muslim communities and masjid spread out in every province in the southern. I think Buddhists and Muslims in the southern are close to each other becauseThey have common ancestors and similar ethnicities and have lived together for nearly 500 years, since Muslims from Sumatra introduced Islam to southern Thailand

    So what is the problem with The Southern Thailand? They can't even celebrate Eid in their own traditional clothing without Thai authorities telling them to behave like a Thai 👀

    That sign read "คนน่านบ่เอามัสยิด" means Nan people don't want a mosque .
    I was born Thai-muslim living in BKK. Alhumduliilah Allah bless me with people around me since I was young. I grew up among Non-muslim environment. My friends are respectful, never once I feel inferior from them. However, I face islamphobia from people on social network, mainly.

    On my firsy visit to Thailand I was blown away by the lack of Islamophobia and at the same time the tolerance practiced by muslims towards others. It was such a refreshing breathe of fresh air.

      Are you saying that the Word of Allah does not exist according to the Quran?
      The Word of Allah is the Son of God!
      Son of God does not mean that God has a child!

    • @tomolo2619
      @tomolo2619 3 месяца назад

      *what a mistake in the Qur'an!*
      Allah himself testifies that he has a son and he is the son as Christians understand it! Only the Koran writer was too ignorant to know what Son of God means! Allah's word which created everything is Allah himself too! *The Word Allahs which created everything is the Son of God according to Christianity!*

    I'm muslim from deep-South Thailand, I would say that different religions live peacefully in most parts of Thailand, but there are exceptions in specific areas or groups of people who have negative reactions toward Muslims and vice versa.

      Daniel should go roam further south of Thailand to know more about the exceptions !

    Sometimes what happens in the Middle East really impacts on us Muslims in Southeast Asia, Even though Southeast Asian Muslims are clearly different from middle east.

    My father in law is from south thailand, an occupied muslim country called Patani. The situation in Patani is like the Palestine situation. I hope you could make a video about the what's happening down there and maybe spread some historic information about it.

    South Thailand has always been Muslim, and it was part of the Malay lands, regardless of who conquered what and whether of not the British were involved. All this is to say, in that particular area, it's really a case of the outsiders integrating with Muslims.

    Budhists in Nan Province used to have protest against a building Mosque because they see many masjids were built with funding from Middle East, it was looked at as "foreigns." (even though Nan province has been the center of Catolic missionary). Just to correct to you, the Muslim guy didn't say he was afraid of entering a Budhist's house. He said his budhist neighbors were talking about him, saying not to entering his house. As a Thai Muslim, I think our country is one of the most interesting Muslim community. Muslims in Chiangmai are mostly Muslim Chinese imigrated. Muslims in the South are mostly ethnically Malay. We have some Cham Muslim in the central. Nontheless, the Thais whose ancesters reverted to Islam.
