I subscribed to you because I'm trying to get into this as well and I like supporting the lower sub youtubers because we all can use the fresh content to grow. Love the content bro.
Subscribed right back at ya! Thank you so much for the kind words. Got to say this whole vlogging is new for me. So it’s nice to know there are supportive fellow creatives on here.
I’ve had to bail on my vlog clips when a client walks in too 😂 Nice video. Can’t wait to see more!
Thank you! I am huge fan yours. Your videos inspired me to vlog and connect with fellow videographers! If you are ever in the NYC area hit me up and id gladly buy you a slice of pizza! Keep up the inspiring work man!
🤣
Love how much info you were able to pack into a short video! Great work man! Looking forward to more!
Thank you so much! I honestly don’t know what a good length for videos. Lol
@@Stolishadji there’s not really a right or a wrong haha - I always try the less is more approach, and they somehow wind up being 10 minutes or so
Thanks ,For The Encouragement with theOMB Community, you've inspired me
Great setup!!
Props on using the FS7! I'm actually looking to add a few FS5's to my collection soon.
Be sure to keep your biggest c-stand leg under your light or mic so it doesn't tip over if somebody bumps it.
FS7 is still going strong. Always tempted to upgrade but for now it’s getting the job done.
I usually bring a sand bag or two but this was a very fast set up and not a lot of people on set. So I took a chance. Def need to be safer next time. All it takes is one bump.
Grreat content: Stolis. If it is possible can you please post a video about the audio gear that you are using with your fs7, and why you use it? Thank you in advance!
Thanks man! My newest video that just went live talks a bit about the audio gear I use. Check it out. Maybe down the line I’ll do one just on audio. Great suggestion!
Thanks for this great insightful video, Stolis. 👏🏽
Looking forwards to following your journey.
Thank you!
Love this, my man!
Thank you!!! Appreciate it!
@@Stolishadji your very welcome!
How do you travel with the gear? Or do you take only local projects?
It’s rare that I get a travel gig. But when I do, I travel as light as possible. Most often I leave the fs7 at home and use the a7iv. All of this depends on the project and budget.
Thanks for sharing this. Your setup looks official.
Thank you sir! Just doing my best with what I got!
Awesome video! Subbed! I just started my vlogs. Huge fan of David Morefields vlogs to.
Subbed right back at ya! Keep up the good work!
Thanks for sharing. I'm in Nj mostly, but I shoot also nyc often. (ugh) lol
Awesome. Thanks for watching! Jersey represent! I love NYC but it can be a challenge moving all that gear through the city so I understand that ugh lol
im still working with FS7, see no reason to upgrade tbh
are you running a lav on the subject as well?
Yes I am. I always do lav and boom mic. Always do a boom and lav. One of them usually likes to fail or gets messed up. So it’s always good to have backups and redundancies if possible
thank you bro! i go one man crew most of the time too so this is v inspirational@@Stolishadji
You might have covered this but how are you syncing? Clapper, timecode?
I use a clapper and sync in Adobe Premire. Clients always love when the slate comes out. They feel like they are on a movie set. lol
How did you get clients to shoot for ?
Networking ProductionHub and sites like that. But usually I try and build a great relationship with a client and they keep coming back for more. There’s no right or wrong way to get clients. Just do good work when you are hired and be a nice person. Talent and personality will take you far.
