When Torches came out I was 10 years old. I got into your music around the time Supermodel came out. Now, at 20 years old, you guys are still my favourite band. I can listen to every song you've put out and get something new out of them every time. I'm looking forwards to 10 more years of that. Thank you so much for doing what you do.
This is so true. I always seem to catch something new with each listen or reflect on a piece of song that I didn’t think about before. Their music is definitely thought provoking and gripping in that sense.
I grew up with your songs, I fell in love the first time with your songs, I had my first dramatic broke up with your songs. Goddamn its been 12 years! I really hope I can see you onstage, the last time you went here was in 2013, I was 14 and broke at that time.

I was 12 when I first listened to this album ten years ago, and to this day its still one of my all time favorites.
But the sad part is that what made them great is now no more alive in them...........its all crap that they do nowadays

I can’t even explain how much foster the people means to me, I hear them since 2011, and I just seen them live in Santiago de Chile when I was 16! The best day of my life! Now I am 24 and they still so present in my life 🤍🤍 I just want them back in Chile 🥺🙏🏽
Torches was such a defining album for my adolescence and my musical journey. It got me through high school honestly. So glad to have their music and to see them grow with us. Much love from LA 💛

4 años, conozco esta banda relativamente poco teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de años que han pasado desde el lanzamiento de Torches, pero fue el primer álbum de ellos que escuché y el que sigue siendo mi favorito, planto un antes y un después en mis gustos musicales y Waste, mi canción favorita, me marcó bastante, espero seguir escuchando nuevos temas de Foster the People durante mucho más tiempo.

I seriously loved every song on Torches, i got this album when i was 13 and heard the full thing a year before, on a plane to newfoundland, I listened to it on repeat for 3 And ahalfhours lol. I relisten when I am down, need a nostalgic Pick me up, and when I'm feeling low or lonely

Torches was an excellent record and the first to change my life, Torches and Tourist History are in my blood, they got me into music, and I've listened a lot of it since then. That damn FIFA 12 DEMO Track on my PS3 changed my life, and I love this album with my heart.

Its funny how my story of listening to FTP , i remember back in 2011 seeing a CTV advertisement featuring FTP and i was laying down on my couch and said ' im never gonna listen to that g4y sht'
Well then Later that night i gave Helena Beat a listen and oh my goodness, i was hooked Just that redemption feeling in the song had related to me so much, i recently got laid off work and i was so down, and from then on there ,i Bought the Whole Album and it is those Rare Albums you can play frok Start to finish, it really is that good,
Thank you Mark Foster i read about your story before Torches, and to come up with this Masterpiece is something else, thank you for making such amazing music and never giving up
I was just just finishing my junior year of high school when Torches came out. And it was a constant on my playlist throughout my senior year and even now as I am 2 years from being in my 30s. Time has just flown by.
