- In todays video I show you how to install a LED KIT on a 2014 mini cooper. This video was requested by a friend of mine so hope you guys enjoy the install process and just how easy this car is to install this kit.

That made a big difference! I changed out my daughter’s Toyota Highlander headlight that kept flickering. I think it finally stopped after I changed it but not sure why it was doing that! Cool vid Jesse!
It sure did I feel bad for incoming drivers but it seriously helps to see at night. It can be many reasons for that. I'm telling you your an awesome father 👍, thanks a lot for watching I appreciate it
That looks a lot better for sure. I've been debating a mild tint and LED bulbs for my Tacoma
U got that right lol my subaru I use have had the best stock lighting besides like a Mercedes or expensive car like that lol, try it man n if u don't like tint u can always take off n the led bulbs you'll never go wrong with that it makes the car look nice at night and it helps yourself seeing at night try it out man 👍

Any warning lights on the cooper after installation?
No warning lights the only problem I got was that the anti flicker went out so they would flicker(just when purchases get a name brand) these were given to me just to try out so they were low quality bulbs and low quality anti flicker

I have a 2017 mini one f55 hardtop with halogen bulbs, both headlight and fog light and daytime running lights Can you recommend LEDs?
What canbus did you use? No headlight errors?

Which decoders did you buy and where from? I have a mini and when I fitted the led bulbs they constantly flicker. Every decoder(anti flicker) I've seen says not compatible with BMW Mini
I got them from amazon the ones I showed in the video were really crappy I had to switch for a different setup but even then bmw doesn’t recommend switching them out not sure why the computers on these cars can’t read it right lol

Really weird. Did you manage to find any decoders that actually stop the led's from flickering? Ooh and just so everyone knows a HID works perfectly but flickers slightly on high beam

Will the led over heat inside? Coz thats why there is a fan behind the led, just to cool it down the light? Now the lid is close how it will cool down? Or it wont over heat at all?
It should not but I would recommend getting auxbeam leds 👍

did you have to adjust the lights after the swap?
No it was just plug and play just make sure you put them I. Correctly if they are inserted wrong they will not illuminate the floor as they’ll be pointing up that’s the only problem I ran into on one of them lol hope that helps
How di I know if my 2014 Clubman needs an antiflicker? And since LEDs do not put off heat, is there an issue with snow/ice build up during winter?
Mainly all bmw/mini need it,
As far as I can tell on that I havnt had a problem
I just changed my mini to led and now my dash computer headlamp warning Indicator appears when I start the engine. Does the anti flicker gadget prevent that from happening?

I honestly don’t remember where I got these I do Rmemeber I just typed in the bulb size and then LED AND they popped up I would recommend getting brand name leds though these were offbrand didn’t work to good.

The one shown I probably would not recommend in all honesty but on Amazon.com or eBay.com

Hi There, How did you solve the bulb out message on the dash? I installed mine with anti flicker but the bulb out message is still on. Please help
Sorry for the late reply, I never got the message when I installed mine was the car off when you installed it? And have u tried connecting the stock bulb to see if it shuts it off
2013 Mini Cooper sold in Canada have this sensor that tells you if your bulb is out. These sensors are annoying if you install LED or HID simply because LED has a lower power draw than regular bulbs, therefore will throw an error & will buzz everytime.
I have issue with R56 H4 LED bulb, Warning light on dash keep appears.
Did you just get the LEDs alone or does it come with a led decoder
Jesse Rizo I using H4 LED and decoder separately but I tried another H4 LED comes with decoder. The dash still show broken light.
Do you have any recommended H4 LED?
bigbird2523 try auxbeam there a budget led but there good products my friend threw them on his bmw 3 series (mini is bmw to) and he said there working fine don’t quote me on it just that’s what my friend told me, that’s odd though I never got a code Your the second person that has told me that 🤔

Almost 100 percent yes usually all the newer cars do or you’ll get a code on the dash

I'm not mechanical at all and can do this. There's no tools needed. He goes a little fast. take the phone with when you go out to the car. might need to watch a couple times.
