John Cleese was the perfect successor to Desmond in my opinion. Similar, but also making the role his own. Wish we'd seen more of him in a potential fifth Brosnan film. Also got to mention they had amazing chemistry on screen.
We did get him in the 'Everything or Nothing' game in a fairly large role in fairness. I wasn't a big fan of him in the part as it felt more like a 'celeb' cameo to me, not helped by Cleese regularly popping up in 'event' movies at that time but glad he has fans [Olga Kurylenko posted a picture of herself with Cleese at a comic-con yesterday so that was a mix of two Bond eras!].

I always assumed Zukovsky died after Elektra shot him as his eyes roll slightly as he drops his face to the floor after freeing Bond. Anyways, RIP Robbie Coltrane.
I agree it's clear he died in the scene. However, presumably because the character was popular, Michael G. Wilson said Zukovsky's wounds 'might not be fatal' so allowing for a potential return...but as that never happened I do think the initial intent holds [and him dying saving Bond means he goes out a hero].
I remember as a young kid going up to Ohio and playing my older cousins PS1 games; most importantly Tomorrow Never Dies. He never played with me (understandably since I was 8 and he was in high school) but that started the Bond liking? He passed in 2016, so much I could say, but that game. RIP Marty
Despite Die Another Day’s reputation overall, I think it did a lot to win over Bond fans to John Cleese as Q. He’s playing the bumbling fool in WNE, which is fine when Desmond is still there, but it wouldn’t play well otherwise.
Him being an idiot but also head of department wouldn't work for sure. The dynamic had also changed with Cleese's Q bantering with Bond rather than slapstick.
It's an important task that we all look at our early creative efforts and weigh how much we've grown. It's not always easy, but sometimes it's hilarious.
That’s a really well put together video, I enjoyed that, you had your reasons for deleting it I’m sure, but your “bad” videos are amazing considering RUclips as a platform is filled with a lot of actual dribble nowadays. Great review! I bust out laughing with past Calvin saying “you know the only reason they called her Christmas is so they could end on that line!”🤣
Ironic that the film which gave us the finest example(s) of Brosnan Pain Face has now given us the first appearance of the phenomenon known as Calvin Pain Face, a look of extreme agonised strain while trying to disguise the cringe of watching your younger self obnoxiously hooting his way through everything his older self would come to hold dear. Very much enjoyed this retrospective as always, with younger Calvin replacing his interjections of out-of-the-blue swearing - give or take a 'stupid bint' - with moments of going Maximum Midlands - 'as the siluh expluhdes' - and a gently Kenneth Williams love of the word 'ooh', especially preceding the word 'drama'. While I disagree with both younger and senior Calvin's appreciation for TWINE, which I greatly respect for what it tries to do but find too perfunctory in its direction and action to make good on those ambitions, the closing talk about how much pleasure the film has brought him over the past quarter-century is lovely and an expression of the best part of fandom, too often overshadowed by people's desire to get angry about things these days rather than remembering what it is they love. It's not something which gets said often enough, although maybe could have done with a few more 'ooh's. Just a thought.
Growing up my brothers and I had the Brosnan films on VHS and I played this and Tomorrow Never Dies so much. I like Goldeneye but always preferred this one and TND over it
At the end of every bond film, we get "James Bond will return". Well, we have another brilliant return for young Calvin. God he's funny. You mentioned about the Tanner pronunciation. In the Goldeneye review, you said it was this film where you misheard it. I have always liked TWINE. Brosnan is brilliant. Sophie Marceau plays her part really well, and I don't really mind Denise Richards either. Knowing what happened to Desmond Llewellyn before the film was released, it still sends a tingle when he drops down and looks at Bond. Marvellous. Wonderful set pieces, funny moments. Everything is here. I think this comes a close 2nd behind Goldeneye as Brosnan's best performance as Bond. I agree with young Calvin. Please make sure that "young Calvin will return" very soon. Brilliant.
Never understood the hate for Christmas, hot women cant be nerds? And as you said there's a lot of characters in previous movies you can say they didnt fit but people ignore them for some reason. I've always loved Christmas but for me she's pretty forgettable only because I love Electra King a lot more and consider her the Bond girl of the film. And this is also in the top 3 of my bond films and even my favorite from Brosnan. And one of my favorite scenes is when Bond and Christmas are running away from the briefcase bomb and when it explodes top part of Christmas body getting shot to the left before going back to being straight was always funny to me.
I remember another older video of yours, Top 10 Worst Bond Film Moments (which I mostly agree with, though I stand by that May Day and Bond hooking up is deliciously camp) where there was also shots taken at Denise Richards, and seeing the Denise Richards Revisionism Period on this channel has been delightful! Speaking as someone who has also loved Bond since childhood/teen years, I know that misogyny and groupthink definitely coloured my opinions on some aspects of the series and some characters, but I am now a PROUD Christmas Jones stan.
The first Bond film I ever saw at the cinema aged 9 in 1999. It’s not in my top 10 but will always be one that I remember with fondness for that reason alone. I specifically remember thinking in that cinema, “is there going to be a music video (title sequence) for this one”? Because the pre title sequence went on for so long.
There doesn't seem to have been any plans for Zukovsky's mistress Irina to return for this film but given Minnie Driver's career had exploded since Goldeneye [including getting an Oscar nomination for 'Good Will Hunting'] she was probably a bit overqualified for the part by 1999!
@@davidjames579 True! I'm a bit surprised that never seems to have been on the table [although Drivers salary would probably have to increase x10!] or her being linked to coming back as a new character. I suppose shoehorning her in to fit the story would be a bit like how Serge goes from being an art gallery employee in Beverly Hills Cop to being an arms dealer in part 3!
Ah those old video reviews is how I found your channel Calvin how time flies. TWINE is the film I remember being my first Bond film to watch fully, and been a Bond fan ever since . Keep up the great work/content.

Ooh. Does this mean next up is Calvin reacting to his D.A.D review. Because that video, randomly recommended by some random quirk of the RUclips algorithm during Lockdown 1 back in 2020 is what brought me to this channel. You got me with the gunbarrel sequence joke and I've been with you ever since.
9:35 Ive never thought she was terrible, NEVER!!! But yes, someone else could have been a better choice to cast (even though the character wouldnt have changed) to look like a mature scientist and nice looking at the end of the movie and I'm shocked that she was the first and only choice. Massive Credit to Joe Darlington to think of Carrie Ann Moss as Dr Christmas Jones, as that would have bought her popularity way up in that year of 1999 to have her in the Matrix (which changed the world) and have her as a Bond girl in the same year. Cant wait for the rest of TWINE month as its a favourite of mine, all the best and good luck :)
Carrie Ann Moss is a good choice. Mine would have been Gillian Anderson. She was already a TV superstar back then from The X Files so I'm thinking along the lines of continuing the trend of casting well known TV actresses with Teri Hatcher in the previous movie. Or Jeri Ryan from Star Trek who can convincingly speak technobabble while being incredibly attractive with a certain charismatic screen presence too.
@damienfenton3880 ahhhhhhhh that's great. Well done for mentioning Gill and jerry in that Terri hatchet vibe. Thanks and here's to all 90s culture , all the best
@@damienfenton3880 Jeri Ryan is a good shout given Dr Jones gets a lot of exposition/technobabble in the film [similar to Stacy Sutton] which is difficult to deliver convincingly.
Something tells me with all The World Is Not Enough you’re giving us, we’re about to get a full depth review of the movie especially since the movie is 25 years old now
After the commercial success of 'World', Eon asked Micheal Apted to return for what became 'Die Another Day'. He accepted but MGM vetoed his appointment as they wanted a bigger name like Tony Scott but especially John Woo [after Mission Impossible 2 was the highest grossing film of 2000]. After failing to get these options, MGM let Eon re-hire Apted but by then he was involved in another project and had to turn it down [much to his regret]. MGM also interfered with Casino Royale as they hired Matthew Vaughn to direct the film without consulting Eon who wanted Martin Campbell so they got there way that time.
didnt Brosnan recomend Brett Ratner also?? I do wonder if MGM forced EON to make Die Another Day into a 'MEMBER BERRIES' type movie aswell for the 40th anniversary, especially since it comes off massively like a film thats had studio interferance ...BIG TIME!!!!!!!
@@DafyddBrooks Yeah Ratner said Pierce put his name forward but Eon weren't keen. Interestingly, apparently Selma Hayak was runner up for Jinx and Ratner-Pierce-Hayak subsequently did 'After the sunset' [which features Naomie Harris!] soon afterwards.
@@DafyddBrooks In fairness the last 3 Bond films have plenty of references to past Bond films so I assume Eon like doing it! But the later Brosnan's film defo show a lot of MGM interference [especially given how many American actors and singers are present and Jinx would be effectively a 'usa' spin off of Bond]. I wouldn't be surprised if Madonna's DAD cameo was insisted by MGM as it's not something Bond has done before or since.
Best movie I’ve seen sophie in is braveheart her emotional performance toward the end of the film is so fucking sad despite the other sad moments in the movie which are way sadder than her performance
Not being funny but the internet would be a better place if people revisited and updated their old opinions a bit more often. Good on you for braving it Calvin!
As you haven't done your updated in-depth review for this one yet, I too have a soft spot for TWINE as it was the first new Bond film I saw after I became a fan. It's not my all time favourite, but it's one I turn to if I just fancy chilling out and putting on a Bond film like you used to do with Octopussy and Tomorrow Never Dies.
As I was getting into Bond around 2014, this film was always one that wasn’t talked about too fondly, but I’ve always loved this film. I had heard Denise Richards was the worst Bond girl, and maybe it’s because I’m from an era where Denise Richards left the spotlight a little bit, but I don’t really get the hate and really like her. Like you said, there are other examples of casting in Bond films being more unbelievable than this. Also when you put it into the context of the relationship you’re supposed to buy in the film is actually Bond and Elektra, the performance is fine. I did get a kick watching you cringe at all the Denise Richards slander in this hahaha.
Thats wonderful to hear mate. It does seem like around that time that not only was she dissed, but other than GOLDNEYE all of the Brosnan era was dissed massivley which I think is very unfair. I wish actually that Presilla Presley was cast as Stacey Sutton as I feel little casting choices like that can improve on a movie slightly.
Personally I don't think Dr Jones is a character that needs to be in the film but whoever was cast was going to struggle given the behind the scenes show the part was very much an afterthought [similar to how 'Fields' in Quantum feels like a crowbarred in character that even an actress as talented as Gemma Arterton could do little with].
She's always been working but I do think most people would struggle to mention anything she'd been in post Love Actually in 2003 so no wonder TWINE has stuck with her.
'The World is not Enough' month has been fun [especially the livestreams]. Have you thought about doing a 'Die Another Day' month? While there are no games [unless you want to suffer through those '007 Legends' levels!], it would be a good opportunity to discuses the 'Jinx spin off' plans and the 40th anniversary [such as the BAFTA tribute].
I think it also has to be finally revealed that even Barbara and Michael thought the CGI windsurfing scene looked terrible at the time of release. They claim Lee Tamahori had said it could all be done that way, and the CGI company promised more than they could do. Tamahori has also apologised for getting less than expected and it goes against the spirit of a Bond film to have him do a stunt entirely against a blue screen.
@@davidjames579 I love the bit in the 'Everything or Nothing' documentary where Pierce laughs his head off at that scene! It makes sense they were over ambitious with it. It looked bad at the time and even worse now.
I was born the 27th of May of 2000, so this was the newest Bond Film in that moment, and that takes a special place in my heart. My first Bond Film was GoldenEye in VHS, when I was 4/5 years more or less (then at 10 for second time), I remembered specially the Aston Martin race, 007 in the yatch, the train scene and the Bond/Trevelyan fight. Then I watched Tomorrow Never Dies in DVD with 6 years, and with the time I rewatched it thousand times in that moment, I loved both chases in BMW. Then, with 8 years I watched The World Is Not Enough, wow, nothin similar to TND, but it had an impact for me, like GE. Nowadays, I watch frequently Bond Films of all actors, but Pierce Brosnan is my favourite and in my heart, and for me, TWINE and Thomas Crown are his prime as an actor. My favourite things, the suits are the best in a Bond Film, Elektra is superb as a villain (my favourite along with Trevelyan and Scaramanga) and her relationship with Bond, M out of the HQ, ost, action sequences... GE and TWINE are my favourite Bond Films, I cannot choose which one, I suposse GE is the perfect Bond Film and TWINE is MY Bond Film. ¡Love your videos Calvin 👍!
Excellent point at the end of the original video - Brosnan's films did indeed try to do something new. This has been brought into even greater focus after the Craig films became increasingly derivative & desperate, bringing in old villains, replicating old characters, homaging Connery's old costumes.
You can tell they were trying to shakes things up a bit in the Brosnan era [like having greater continuity] but I don't think they fully committed to ditching the old tropes [like always ending with a kiss+joke] until the Craig era. Bond has always been derivative to an extent as it will always try to ape what is currently popular [Moonraker with Star Wars most noticeably]. The only 'old villain' they've ever brought back was Blofeld and that was mainly as they finally got the rights back [the Bond reference book 'The Bond files' mentions rumours about Blofeld returning around Die Another Day which shows how long it had been kicking around]. Also Pierce's last film was 'Die Another Day' which was full of references and homages! [and TWINE is a phrase from OHMSS].
Neil Purvis and Robert Wade in a 2022 interview with the BBC implied that the Craig era tone/more vulnerable Bond character is what they would have liked to have done straight away with Pierce but as they came in for his 3rd film they felt the need to fit with his tone and style ['It was essentially a continuum of what came before. We tried to make Pierce's Bond more vulnerable...but you couldn't do a big shift with the character']. Given Pierce has said he wished his Bond films were more serious and darker in hindsight ['I saw where things were going [in the wider world'] it sounds like he was on the same page as P&W but I can see why they went for a change in Bond actor with Casino [as the drafts for Pierce involved Bond backpacking in Madagascar and playing chess with Lord Lucan!'] to get the new tone.
Lucan was asked to do an audition for Bond on the recommendation of Fleming himself but turned it down, maybe a nod to that. I always feel Purvis and Wade seem to specialise in scripts that make less sense with each repeat viewing, I am slightly surprised they have been been involved with 7 consecutive films and the would be Jinx spin-off, even Richard Maibaum took a break occasionally.
@@usernameinfo4therevenge They weren't involved in the last 3 Bond films initially but we're brought back when the scripts were rejected [Peter Morgan for Skyfall, John Hodge for NTTD] or it wasn't working during filming [John Logan for Spectre].
@@usernameinfo4therevengeLucan was rumoured to have escaped to a life in exhile in Africa. Possibly a nod to Fleming's recommendation. Lucan was something of a real life James Bond, minus being a spy, as far as anyone knows.
@@jamesatkinsonjaMorgan has claimed that a lot of his Bond 23 script was unchanged after the 2 year break when it became Skyfall, but he wasn't credited.
@@davidjames579 Sounds like he must have tried to get at least a story credit. Robert Wade said the only connection to the final film was M's past coming back to haunt her and her death [which was by Bond himself in the Morgan draft!] but it's always hard to tell who wrote what without the scripts at hand. I know John Hodge said Bond having a Kid was his idea for NTTD but only 'about half a line' of his script remained in the film so no credit.
Completely with you on the Denise Richards love, Calvin. 14 year old me wasn’t listening to a word Christmas Jones was saying anyway. She wasn’t hired because she was the next Meryl Streep; she was hired because she is an insanely gorgeous woman.
TWINE is one of my more liked Bond films but still definitely not one of the best, and I don't think it's every strayed from that in my opinion. A big part of the reason is indeed Christmas Jones, but in all honesty that's more a reflection of how much better other Brosnan Bond girls have been, with Simonova and Lin both being contenders for the very best Bond girl of them all.
This still my favourite Brosnan Bond film. It covers a lot of ground. I think Brosnan’s performance is great in his other entities, but this is the most consistent film.

I think Brosnan's first three films are brilliant, exciting and fun. Then there's the one we shall not mention. Which is annoying because it's both his and Cleese's best performance as their respective characters.
I remember being annoyed at John Cleese's casting in TWINE. I thought it was lazy going with someone so well known and I thought he was going to play it far too over the top as he had started to in his roles then. I was relieved when I saw his performance in TWINE and he actually came across as a character. He was somewhat convincing as a government employee. In DAD he was even better and his repartee with Brosnan is great, and nicely recalling of Desmond without just copying it.
i'm glad despite the cringe of young Calvin i like the fact it's positive to the first Bound movie i have seen(maybe) i can't wait form his new review of this film
Great review of an earlier review as always and just your content in general. I do have to ask though. You always seem to be dressed the part, for what we can see, with the shirt or even earlier in a tux.... although, are you fully dressed or are you doing what many of us did during the lockdown when we all discovered we could work from home via Teams meeting etc, and where we discovered people could only see our top halves so we decided to stay in our undies... so, is this how you roll? 😂😂😂
Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if dropping Cleese was one of the first decisions they made when they committed to a dark tone+ less gadgets for Casino [to the extent there was no Q for it and Quantum] as his humour wouldn't fit.
@@toptrollking Each to there own, I like those films personally [because I like the Craig era]. I do think there is a big drop in quality for DAD compared to the rest of the Brosnan era [especially as the CGI has aged]-Even Pierce doesn't like it.
@@toptrollkingeasy watches. Just like how there is no such thing as a bad Dragonball show, or a bad Iron Maiden album, there is no such thing as a bad Bond film. The closest one to that is Quantum. And even then, that's mid at worst. Still an easy watch and a fun viewing experience.
most likley it was more that he was sadly dead. BUT, never 110% but then again it may have lessened the films impact and Zukovsky went out well as a character. I know people either wanted him or Jack Wade to return in future (a confirmed 5th) Brosnan movies. Wai Lin would have been nice in Die another day......... awwww its all making me sad now :(
There doesn't seem to have been any plans for him to appear in DAD and it's hard to see how his character would fit in the story [similar to why he's not in 'Tomorrow Never Dies'].
@@DafyddBrooks I don't know if you heard but Lee Tamahori recently said that Michelle Yeoh turned down the DAD cameo as she didn't see the point in returning for a throwaway scene but did seem interested if it was a good part. He said they did look into including her in the main story but with Jinx and Miranda Frost already there it would complicate things also throwing Wai Lin in the mix so they dropped the idea. Michael Madsen was talking about his NSA character Falco being in future Bond's when DAD came out [maybe he had a option on his contract] so I think we'd have got more of him rather than Jack Wade if they'd done a 5th Pierce film [especially as Pierce+ Madsen were friends off screen].
I know Bond movies always "stretch" (destroy?) credibility, but when a normal room drapery cord is long enough and strong enough to act as a professional bungee cord and fall 5 stories and hold a 200 lb. man and 50 lbs. of money, I am like HUH?! I guess if it was a dental office, he would have used dental floss?
In fairness Talia al Ghul is an existing Batman character so the twist probably was there regardless of any 'TWINE' influence although for me in Rises the 'twist' come so late and Talia is killed off soon afterwards it feels like an element that might well have been dropped if they had done a couple more drafts.
I still think Christmas Jones is one of the worst Bond women in the franchise. Denise Richards' line delivery is so flat and unconvincing, and her entire performance is wooden.
In fairness I don't think the character adds much to the film and is really underwritten so I don't think putting someone else in would have been a massive improvement.
This was the first and to date the only Bond I ever saw at the Cinema. Bond should have just phoned down to Q-lab to stop King setting off the rigged money. I agree that John Cleese was one of the better things to come out of the Brosnan-era Bond movies. Agreed about Desmond Llewelyn's final appearence & scene in the franchise. DENISE RICHARDS is still the misfire in this Brosnan's best Bond movie & yes they only called her Christmas because........ but "bint"!! wash your mouth out with soap & water young man. Pierce Brosnan and the Brosnan Bond movies were by far the most non-believable of the franchise. Brosnan is the only Bond actor I feel was cast because he looked like what a Bond actor should look like rather than considering if he had any of his own qualities for the role.
Sorry but Calvin getting increasingly annoyed at his younger self's mockery of Denise Richards is hilarious.

“Sit behind a desk and exposit” is a good one Calvin, I’m borrowing that!
The original video goes back to 1843. Amazing.
The “Oh dear” at 10:14 is so tangible… oh my…
2011 Calvin's praise over Desmond's last Q scene made me think, have you ever done a top 10 Q scenes?
I've always enjoyed John Cleese as R/Q. The transition scene was handled with class.
I miss My Weekly Beiber. Where Justin Beiber used to review Bond movies...

Denise, is it too late to say I'm sorry?
Growing up my brothers and I had the Brosnan films on VHS and I played this and Tomorrow Never Dies so much. I like Goldeneye but always preferred this one and TND over it
Agree about preference
Brilliant.
Thanks for the review Calvin
Great video, Calvin! I’m very excited for your in depth review of TWINE too!! Hope you’re ok
Great video Calvin !! I've always liked the film ! I have one of the original orange crates from the nuclear bunker as a coffee table 😁
Sorry. But the "stupid bint" line made me crack up.
It was bad idea to cast a 5'6 Robert Carlyle as the big bad in the World is Not Enough
I liked this one a lot when it came out and it does age very well, so still in top positions.
Surprisingly I still haven't rewatched this for the anniversary
There doesn't seem to have been any plans for Zukovsky's mistress Irina to return for this film but given Minnie Driver's career had exploded since Goldeneye [including getting an Oscar nomination for 'Good Will Hunting'] she was probably a bit overqualified for the part by 1999!
That actually would have been funny if MGM desperate to cash in, found a way to crowbar her into the story through some implausible way.
@@jamesatkinsonja haha. Or Johnny Depp's cameo in Nightmare On Elm Street 6. Because by then he was a star.
Ah those old video reviews is how I found your channel Calvin how time flies. TWINE is the film I remember being my first Bond film to watch fully, and been a Bond fan ever since . Keep up the great work/content.
I remember back in the day looking James Bond review your video on the world is not enough it's my first video I watch on RUclips channel Bond fan made me a fan of your channel back in the day I love this review of The world is not enough it gave me love to the start defending the movie and loving the movie a lot more than now over the years fun nostalgia for my life I love it so much it made me a fan of your channel it made me a fan of the movie I was so happy to find someone who likes the world not enough movie I Love it
Wow, the pace at which you used to speak is scary!
RUclips video length limits in 2011
@ Yeah I got it, it’s just funny after being so used to Calvin’s much more carefully paced delivery these days!
The love is still there for me. I grew up with Pierce so that and Golden eye have always been my favorites!
Oh my! How different it could have been if Apted had directed Die Another Day
@@sashaking1115 oooooooo VERY!!!! iits definatley like when they asked Sam Mendes to come back for SPECTRE sort of situation,
didnt Brosnan recomend Brett Ratner also??
Eyo Calvin, have you been to the James Bond museum in Nybro, Sweden? I went there and the guy running it is kind of excentric.
Bless you Calvin! We've all made mistakes. Dr Christmas Jones forgives you.
John Cleese team! 😀
@@jamesatkinsonja Undercover brother?? ;)
@@DafyddBrooks Even that is over 20 years old now! It did tick off the obligatory 'Ex-Bond girl in spoof' role for her.
@@jamesatkinsonja I remember watching it in the cinema in 2002. Friends I was with laughed. Others said whaaaat! I was just silently dumbfounded.
I’m sorry but I really don’t like John Cleese in Bond 😅❤
Colin Salmond is now the owner of the Queen Vic.
You'll be surprised how many stunning women study advanced science and engineering degree 💃
Completely with you on the Denise Richards love, Calvin. 14 year old me wasn’t listening to a word Christmas Jones was saying anyway. She wasn’t hired because she was the next Meryl Streep; she was hired because she is an insanely gorgeous woman.
In short, a Bond Girl
Calvin you should send a big bouquet of Roses to Denise Richards immediately 😁
RED roses!
His video last week was pretty much that!
Never Send Flowers
TWINE is one of my more liked Bond films but still definitely not one of the best, and I don't think it's every strayed from that in my opinion. A big part of the reason is indeed Christmas Jones, but in all honesty that's more a reflection of how much better other Brosnan Bond girls have been, with Simonova and Lin both being contenders for the very best Bond girl of them all.
For me, it's the one that could have been great with some different decisions.

I do agree Cleese is better the second time around.
Apparently Sean liked to get his trews off when not on camera. That's not a double entendre. He just got hot under the studio lights and on location.
I think John Cleese was as good as we could get for a successor to Desmond. I wish he was Q in the Craig era.
Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if dropping Cleese was one of the first decisions they made when they committed to a dark tone+ less gadgets for Casino [to the extent there was no Q for it and Quantum] as his humour wouldn't fit.
@@jamesatkinsonja yeah, that makes sense

I’m sorry younger Calvin but it’s “nucular psychiatrist” not nuclear physicist.
Let’s just say I totally believe Mrs. Richard’s as a nuclear physicist then Bond as an Asian man.
I wonder Robbie might have been in die another day but he was doing Harry Potter
most likley it was more that he was sadly dead. BUT, never 110% but then again it may have lessened the films impact and Zukovsky went out well as a character.
I know people either wanted him or Jack Wade to return in future (a confirmed 5th) Brosnan movies.
Wai Lin would have been nice in Die another day......... awwww its all making me sad now :(
This sentence taken out of context sounds a bit disgusting

Calvin i remember this one now, i remember loving the villian and how the dark knight rises ripped off the villian reveal
In fairness Talia al Ghul is an existing Batman character so the twist probably was there regardless of any 'TWINE' influence although for me in Rises the 'twist' come so late and Talia is killed off soon afterwards it feels like an element that might well have been dropped if they had done a couple more drafts.
@@jamesatkinsonja its similar tho, i love it, the male and female villian similarites
And how Bane is presented as the main villain but is in love with Talia.
Denise Richardson was also in a episode of Friends
And Seinfeld! Also Two and A Half men+ Spin City when she was married to Charlie Sheen.
If it was Frasier, Calvin's appreciation would have gone up even more.
Young calvin was a menace!
It was the era
Hes good
