Might I asked what you are doing for reverb: which reverb, setting, how much wet/dry? If you feel like sharing. Sounds incredible!! Is this also thematic horns?
This was Seventh Heaven Pro, with a 2second hall present for "the room", and Valhalla Rooms for the tail. Longer reverb, but mixed in at much lower levels. As for horns... I think I used every horns I have here, including the thematic horns from Abbey Road. Your comment reminds me that I need to upload this project to Patreon.
Sounds really good, especially the strings! May I ask if you used a certain string library combination here? (To me it sounds like you’ve layered HZ Strings with something, but I’m not too sure)
Thanks! You are absolutely right about HZ Strings -- it is heavily layered with Albion One spiccatos and staccatos, along with CSS shorts and the Pacific Strings ensemble from Performance Samples.
@@craigwentworthmusicthanks, yeah that’s heavy haha. But that’s the good thing with strings - easier to layer. I’ve found brass much more difficult in that regard. I usually layer in some horn flutters from CineBrass, similar to what you did here I think. Overall I think this mock-up is very well programmed. I aim to get my template to have a similar sound one day.
