I have a query on proportion. You had mentioned on weight basis. I want to know, if it is one cup to one cup, Is it the paste to Sugar or Full cashew 1 cup to sugar 1 cup! Pl clarify. Sure you don’t need any oil to keep the dough soft and prevent it from drying out? Also, you haven’t mentioned how long the cooking/mixing process takes.

No need for oil and you knead the dough well to smooth and soft. the natural oil from the cashew itself is enough.
