It always amazes me that all these little towns have their little specialties, Canterano has all those quotes on the walls. How do you feel walking in places that have origins from 300BC? Seems more cats in this town, love the one sitting in the little hole in the wall😻 The panoramic view of the surrounding hills is so beautiful. Another great drone intro. Stay healthy and safe 🙏keep🚶
Geraldine, Thank You so much for your always kind words! Indeed it's quite incredibile to think how old some of those towns can be. Some, around here where I live, are much older than Rome itself. It's a strange feeling for sure. Glad you enjoyed it; I found the writings on the walls a very cute way to brighten the town. A simple yet creative idea. And some paintings were truly nice

It's curious how many walks in many villages like those received so little views and are forgotten in the middle of the channel, often overlooked... It was an amazing walk there, still remember it to this day... atmosphere of Canterano was one of a kind

Beautiful town with stunning vistas. I do wonder why so many houses have all their shutters closed. I can understand those on street level. But many 2nd and 3rd stories are closed as well. Is there a reason for this?
Thank You Maggie. Indeed, I don't know the reason. The buildings and flats seems quite in good shape. But....my theory could be that it was way too early on a Sunday morning! It was about 8:30 so people probably still enjoying the laziness of relax ))

The first starts just close from where I start the walking, behind the church (I parked the car there )) and the main one is visibile at the end of the video!! Still... mountain roads, quite fascinating, but a little away from the main ones
