Kurt Sutter always had a vision for the SOA universe to include 4 shows; 1. Sons of Anarchy, 2. Mayans MC, 3. The First 9, and 4. Samcro. Samcro is the show I'm really anxious to see. Samcro will tell the story of Jax Teller's sons, Abel and Thomas. Kurt said he viewed the series as a circumstance where Abel draws close to the Club and begins Pospecting, while younger brother Thomas tries to steer him away from the Club. If you recall the final scene in SOA, it shows Nero and Wendy driving to Norco, and we see Abel in the backseat messing with the Sons RING that Gemma gave to him - that was certainly intentional and a bit foreshadowing. I REALLY want to see that series and quite honestly - SOA ended in 2014, so Abel would have to be maybe 15-16 years old right now - you could still have a show where he's prospecting while Chibbs and Tig are still Pres and VP - That would be incredibly wise to bridge the gap between both shows. You need characters in Samcro that knew Jax well. Anyway, I personally would call the show "Sons". Hoping this one comes to life someday.

I really do hope the make a mini-series of The First Nine. I have been fascinated about how SAMCRO started since I watch the first episode of SOA. In my opinion this should start the series with John and Piney in Vietnam, with a parallel story of Jemma growing up as a PK.
Not a mini series, few seasons, take it slow, friendships and hardships in Vietnam, to them coming back, struggling to come back to society and then creation of samcro, all the way until johns death, should have some time jumps😬
I think a 9 episode miniseries would be cool. 9 pivotal moments in the early history of the club leading up to JT's death in the finale. Just my thoughts.

I think a First 9 would be awesome. If it comes from the people at Disney the series would suck serious ass. After Sutter was let go, the Mayans storyline started going crazy and all over the place. A series dealing with a First 9 would have to be conducted by Sutter himself. Anything else I believe would tank pretty bad.
Yeah. Sutter may not have been a biker, but he's as close to the outlaw type that you get within Hollyweird. He did his research, and knew who to bring in and get his advice from, Sonny and Chuck Zito to name two of a filthy few. Even Robert Patrick from Boozefighters. The current Mayans MC writers just aren't right. And any Disney's Mouse MC, I'll just avoid.

man...I have often thought a sequel about Abel and Thomas and their struggle to stay out of the life as young adults....but this idea right here!!!!! Hell yes. Would add such a twisted dynamic to the story and characters of Abel and Thomas. My 1st thought was Abel would be the one in SAMCRO and Thomas the younger brother being the LEO...but the more I think on it...Abel saw and experienced the hell that SAMCRO brought to his family so I could see him being the LEO and Thomas getting mixed up in the club. I love it bro. Love it.

Here’s how it happens….Thomas finds the original “manifesto” his grandfather wrote in a box of Abel’s old “stuff”. Abel used it as motivation to pursue a career in LE while Thomas uses it to try and “ right” the club back into his grandfather’s original vision. Boom!

I have a bad feeling that the First 9 won't be made, especially now that Disney has the rights to the show and Sutter has pretty much been fired. If anything was to be made, it would be by someone else. Although, if I was in charge, I would bring in Sutter as a consultant and work with him to bring the full story of SOA to life.
At the end of SOA you see Jax the semi and then blood. You never see a funeral ect..... It would be awesome if Jax came back living in hiding with his sons. But I know that won't happen. Just keep dreaming I guess.

It's pretty obvious that Clay joining SAMCRO was when they went from outlaw hippie bikers to gangsters. Piney basically never trusted Clay despite sponsoring him for membership. I think it is almost a show of the difference in Vietnam Vets who served in the 60s to the ones like Clay who served in the 70s. Clay came out of the war comfortable with violence while JT and Piney always had a discomfort with violence even when committing it.
I love the idea of the first 9 good storyline but the timeline is throwing off trying find out when was Jax was born in the 80s or 90s and then you got most of the first members kill in the 70s and 80s so hopefully they do a show from beginning to the end so I don't know but like the idea make it happen when I'm still living
Man your missing so much like Gemma was John's wife before coming Clay's and that Gemma and Clay plot to kill John by messing with his bike which is why he crashed and that also Maureen's daughter was John's and that John had planned on leaving the club and Gemma to go to Ireland to be with Maureen cause he had suspected or new about Gemma and Clay.

I wanna know, where did this person get all this background information from? 2nd: Although, Hunnam and Perlman might've signed off on a spinoff, they don't own the rights to SOA. Therefore, nothing can happen. Also, since Disney now owns FX, it's up to Disney if there are any future spinoffs in the SOAVerse.
whenever studios register trademarks for titles and register company llc for the show, the registration info is always public. could be where this is coming from. they also update imdb pages a couple of years in advance depending on planning. it could be where he gets his info.
I think it’d be more interesting if it was the opposite . Abel after experiencing so much trauma as a kid became weary of the club while Thomas who’s not quite the heir apparent dives head first into the life with something to prove , with Abel subsequently getting dragged in to protect his little brother who he loves so dearly

I was really excited for the Mayans series win it was first coming out, and I think all the actors on that show are amazing and doing a fantastic job with what they are given but truth be told I think there’s a reason why it never got as big as Sons of Anarchy or close to it like Better Call Saul did as a spin off to Breaking Bad. As good as the actors are the writing on this show is all over the place. It feels like it’s got schizophrenia. I’m tired of them killing off characters for shock value. There was no reason for them to even save Coco if you’re just going to have his head blown off the minute, he gets home. And killing a member of Samcro ?? Montez?? For shock value, and then not even having Samcro be the charger that’s pissed off about it ? Like literally that you had to bring in another charger that was pissed off at the fact that Montez was killed. All of season three was this huge tease of this war that they were going to have with the crew from Charming and it never happened. If you ever are re-watching Sons of Anarchy, just think that the crew that you were watching, what would they do if they found out someone from the Mayans killed a member of that chapter and left his body in a barrel? Do you think they would just not do a damn thing about it and let another charger take care of it? Hell no! On top of that they’re protagonist is now someone who will murder anyone in his own circle for having a simple disagreement with him. Honestly, I want them to and Mayans so we can hurry up and get another series for this universe . Either First 9 or hell I don’t even like a show that follows the crew from charming again but instead of calling it Sons of Anarchy because clearly that’s what the original show was Cole just called this one Samcro and we follow Chibs, Tig, Happy, T.O. Rat Boy, Quinn, etc.

He had another opportunity he wanted more...which is insane to me, Coco was amazing...but yeah that wasnt James and Sutter's fault. Totally agree. Mayans had potential but things got too woke and unrealistic. My suspension of disbelief can only go so far and I got tired of rolling my eyes and groaning with the ridiculous plot twists.
Its like sutter took elias and barnes out of Platoon (oliver stone) and put them in the real world after the war and in the same motocycle gang (Elias/JT and Barnes/Clay)
I liked Mayans it”s a different which I like. If it tried to copy SOA it would just suck and in my opinion Mayans area is different has they are near the border where it’s a different environment which would equal different problems realistically. SOA is from a small town where they are able to be low key unless the cops are breathing on their necks where the Mayans are near the border where drugs are moved around so much. Ez also had a different road then jax, where jax was born into the club in a sense, where ez had a connection to his fathers past but he wasn’t born into it which would make his journey different overall I like both shows SOA has a rewatchable factor where Mayans is rewatchable too, but those who love SOA and want the same thing probably are not gonna like Mayans but someone who just love tales or stories of the outlaw life ware gonna appreciate both shows. I always wanted them to do one more spin-off of the grim reapers they were featured in SOA show, I feel like we done mostly a white club, a Latin biker club, why not do a black biker club as well
Piney was not the first of the First 9 to be executed by Clay. Clay through McGee off the the top of the building in season 3 and killed Piney in season 4.
The other shows, written right with Kurt Sutter involved, would be television gold. I think there’s contracts or ownership of the material holding it up. Kinda like when Disney bought marvel and we haven’t gotten a fuckin X-men movie forever
It would only be the Grim Bastards since the Mayans got a show 5 seasons long but even then the Grim Bastards are only bought into it for a couple episodes, there's not really enough there for them to get a spinoff about them, it would only be like 1 or 2 seasons long
Him and Piney went through a war in Vietnam and they sure as hell didn't want to come back home to one...I'm pretty sure that Clay is who got the club into running guns which Piney and John Teller was dead against but when you have members that does shadey things behind yours and other members back, what do you do especially when your wife is involved with a brother of the club. It's not the right thing to do when it comes to the president of the clubs own wife and that's why I never liked Clay or her...John was pretty much on his own and Piney was his only true friend and he always had Johns back. That's why Clay took Piney out cause he knew Piney couldn't stand the thought of Clay...When watching the series, Clay was a coward or he would have never took a club member out just because Clay was a p.o.s from getgo

My 1st thought was Abel would be the one in SAMCRO and Thomas the younger brother being the LEO...but the more I think on it...Abel saw and experienced the hell that SAMCRO brought to his family so I could see him being the LEO and Thomas getting mixed up in the club. I love it bro. Love it.
@@CM-vx8xm YES! Abel trying desperately to keep Thomas from making the same mistakes in the life and Thomas’ struggle to do so while trying to put the club into legitimate ways of earning. So many story lines could come from this dynamic relationship! Somebody call Sutter and pitch this!
Here’s how it happens….Thomas finds the original “manifesto” his grandfather wrote in a box of Abel’s old “stuff”. Abel used it as motivation to pursue a career in LE while Thomas uses it to try and “ right” the club back into his grandfather’s original vision. Boom!

I have a bad feeling that the First 9 won't be made, especially now that Disney has the rights to the show and Sutter has pretty much been fired. If anything was to be made, it would be by someone else. Although, if I was in charge, I would bring in Sutter as a consultant and work with him to bring the full story of SOA to life.

It's pretty obvious that Clay joining SAMCRO was when they went from outlaw hippie bikers to gangsters. Piney basically never trusted Clay despite sponsoring him for membership. I think it is almost a show of the difference in Vietnam Vets who served in the 60s to the ones like Clay who served in the 70s. Clay came out of the war comfortable with violence while JT and Piney always had a discomfort with violence even when committing it.

I love the idea of the first 9 good storyline but the timeline is throwing off trying find out when was Jax was born in the 80s or 90s and then you got most of the first members kill in the 70s and 80s so hopefully they do a show from beginning to the end so I don't know but like the idea make it happen when I'm still living
Man your missing so much like Gemma was John's wife before coming Clay's and that Gemma and Clay plot to kill John by messing with his bike which is why he crashed and that also Maureen's daughter was John's and that John had planned on leaving the club and Gemma to go to Ireland to be with Maureen cause he had suspected or new about Gemma and Clay.

This is just a SuperFan!! We've heard rumors of something following the Myans but who knows and I don't think FX is doing hardcore TV much longer. S.O.A was the greatest show ever!! Not to often do we get show's that great. SHIELD was another incredible show. Again FX is moving in different direction. Sadly 😥

I wanna know, where did this person get all this background information from? 2nd: Although, Hunnam and Perlman might've signed off on a spinoff, they don't own the rights to SOA. Therefore, nothing can happen. Also, since Disney now owns FX, it's up to Disney if there are any future spinoffs in the SOAVerse.
whenever studios register trademarks for titles and register company llc for the show, the registration info is always public. could be where this is coming from. they also update imdb pages a couple of years in advance depending on planning. it could be where he gets his info.

I think it’d be more interesting if it was the opposite . Abel after experiencing so much trauma as a kid became weary of the club while Thomas who’s not quite the heir apparent dives head first into the life with something to prove , with Abel subsequently getting dragged in to protect his little brother who he loves so dearly

I was really excited for the Mayans series win it was first coming out, and I think all the actors on that show are amazing and doing a fantastic job with what they are given but truth be told I think there’s a reason why it never got as big as Sons of Anarchy or close to it like Better Call Saul did as a spin off to Breaking Bad. As good as the actors are the writing on this show is all over the place. It feels like it’s got schizophrenia. I’m tired of them killing off characters for shock value. There was no reason for them to even save Coco if you’re just going to have his head blown off the minute, he gets home. And killing a member of Samcro ?? Montez?? For shock value, and then not even having Samcro be the charger that’s pissed off about it ? Like literally that you had to bring in another charger that was pissed off at the fact that Montez was killed. All of season three was this huge tease of this war that they were going to have with the crew from Charming and it never happened. If you ever are re-watching Sons of Anarchy, just think that the crew that you were watching, what would they do if they found out someone from the Mayans killed a member of that chapter and left his body in a barrel? Do you think they would just not do a damn thing about it and let another charger take care of it? Hell no! On top of that they’re protagonist is now someone who will murder anyone in his own circle for having a simple disagreement with him.
Honestly, I want them to and Mayans so we can hurry up and get another series for this universe . Either First 9 or hell I don’t even like a show that follows the crew from charming again but instead of calling it Sons of Anarchy because clearly that’s what the original show was Cole just called this one Samcro and we follow Chibs, Tig, Happy, T.O. Rat Boy, Quinn, etc.
While I agree with you. I would just like to add that sadly Coco was killed off by request by the actor. He had another opportunity he wanted more...which is insane to me, Coco was amazing...but yeah that wasnt James and Sutter's fault. Sutter was always good about respecting those requests from his actors
You are 100% on the money, disney ruin everything, if it isn’t woke, they change showrunners to try and make it woke and if that doesn’t work, they cut the budget even if it’s a hit. Got rid of Sutter… This show is nothing more than fan fiction now he has gone. It was onto something with the war with SAMCRO but I guess not enough of the old actors wanted to destroy their legacy characters to make some Mexicans run by some nutty women and a dwarf look amazing stunning and brave…

Totally agree. Mayans had potential but things got too woke and unrealistic. My suspension of disbelief can only go so far and I got tired of rolling my eyes and groaning with the ridiculous plot twists.
Its like sutter took elias and barnes out of Platoon (oliver stone) and put them in the real world after the war and in the same motocycle gang (Elias/JT and Barnes/Clay)

I liked Mayans it”s a different which I like. If it tried to copy SOA it would just suck and in my opinion Mayans area is different has they are near the border where it’s a different environment which would equal different problems realistically. SOA is from a small town where they are able to be low key unless the cops are breathing on their necks where the Mayans are near the border where drugs are moved around so much. Ez also had a different road then jax, where jax was born into the club in a sense, where ez had a connection to his fathers past but he wasn’t born into it which would make his journey different overall I like both shows SOA has a rewatchable factor where Mayans is rewatchable too, but those who love SOA and want the same thing probably are not gonna like Mayans but someone who just love tales or stories of the outlaw life ware gonna appreciate both shows. I always wanted them to do one more spin-off of the grim reapers they were featured in SOA show, I feel like we done mostly a white club, a Latin biker club, why not do a black biker club as well

Piney was not the first of the First 9 to be executed by Clay. Clay through McGee off the the top of the building in season 3 and killed Piney in season 4.

It would only be the Grim Bastards since the Mayans got a show 5 seasons long but even then the Grim Bastards are only bought into it for a couple episodes, there's not really enough there for them to get a spinoff about them, it would only be like 1 or 2 seasons long

Him and Piney went through a war in Vietnam and they sure as hell didn't want to come back home to one...I'm pretty sure that Clay is who got the club into running guns which Piney and John Teller was dead against but when you have members that does shadey things behind yours and other members back, what do you do especially when your wife is involved with a brother of the club. It's not the right thing to do when it comes to the president of the clubs own wife and that's why I never liked Clay or her...John was pretty much on his own and Piney was his only true friend and he always had Johns back. That's why Clay took Piney out cause he knew Piney couldn't stand the thought of Clay...When watching the series, Clay was a coward or he would have never took a club member out just because Clay was a p.o.s from getgo

That confuses me because in season 3 of Mayans before the big fight at the hotel Diaz tells Bishop that the SoA didn't allow him and Alvarez into their club because they were Hispanic, but Chico was in the club then so somebody's backstory is inconsistent 🤣
