    [GOOD TIP] 6:08 For better cleaning the radiator fins where dust piled at the fanning end you have to use soapy water dipped tooth brush and carefully clean those fin holes after vacuuming and removing big bust piles on the fins. Then use moist brushing second third times to remove the soapy moisture out fins with careful brushing, you will see a lot of dirt on the brush. Because micro dust particles settled on the fin surfaces and soapy water brushing after vacuuming will do 2nd stage better cleaning of fins so next time the dust wont settle inside the fins so frequently.

    Hello, I've tried just about everything... I replaced the
    fan&Heatsink in a Dell 17-5767 Now the Fan is running wide open all
    the time... error message saying fan not responding correctly...In the
    bios the the fan isn't showing the RPM's...Any ideals? I've tried about
    everything...unplugged battery for 30 sec held power button for 30
    second's...unplugged the small 2032 battery for 10 mins... Did the
    thermal paste over..unplugged the fan and plugged back up...reset the
    laptop...tried a old bios firmware...tried my old fan which still
    works,BUT IT ALSO runs at highest rpms now... Trying to think of
    everything I've tried...Did the new fan do some kind of hardware
    change???? Any way gonna order another fan and try that,I guess Thanks

      @computerrepairservice2654  3 года назад

      check the connection wires of the fan. may be some wire has'nt connection (e.g. wich is responsable for RPM). Also check if the heatsink applies well on all the chips. it's difficult to see, but try. you can apply the thermal paste, place and screw the heatsink, and then remove it again and see if the thermal paste was pressed correctly on all the surface of the chip.

    is there any way to clean it without having all the parts removed like in this video? some laptops could jub be cleaned with compressed air near the vents, what about this 1564?

    • @computerrepairservice2654
      @computerrepairservice2654  7 лет назад

      You can do it, but with this way the cooling system will be cleaned partially. Also the thermo-paste it's preferable to be changed at each cleaning. Also, if there is a few dust in a cooler, then it will be go off with the compressed air, but if there is a lot of dust then a piece of that can block the fan and the result will be not "so good".

    What is the adhesive tape on white and black cabes from WLAN? That is important? Is it normal the cabe white and black be uncovered in that part? the tape is mettalic?

    • @computerrepairservice2654
      @computerrepairservice2654  8 лет назад +1

      +Rodney Suhr if you talk about a little bit of the adhesive tape on 3:07 minute of video, it's for better fastening of the wires. It's a common cloth tape.

      check if the flex cable from the power button is correctly connected to the motherboard. check also if the contacts at the cable's end are ok and are not destroyed.

      @computerrepairservice2654  4 года назад

      May be deactivated. Look at the right-bootom corner in the notifications area. The bluetooth tab must be blue. Or you can download and install drivers from the Dell's website

    I have the same laptop. I gave it to fix the CPU fan but when it came back the sound stopped working. I think the person who fixed the fan somehow managed not to attach the internal speaker wires. Which ones are those if you can point that out. I will take it apart and try to fix it myself on the same. Thanks.

    Hi, I just did a screen ribbon replacement on my one of these as it was flickering then white screening ... After fitting the new ribbon however the laptop will not power on , Nothing even with cable in get nothing no lights nothing was fine this morning ... ??

    • @computerrepairservice2654
      @computerrepairservice2654  7 лет назад

      may be the cable is not gut. also, check the connector on the motherboard - some times if the cable was not connected correctly, the pins inside the connector can bent and make short circuit. Are you sure that the fault is in the cable and not LCD panel?

    • @IIMANIXII
      @IIMANIXII 7 лет назад

      Yeah, Its the cable screen is fine I fixed it once before but after use (screen open and Close) the issue has returned, hence the ribbon change .... Makes no sense to be dead after a ribbon change .. I am going to gut it tomorrow rebuild it .... After that Likely get a Hammer and finish up there to be honest ..... Was fine this morning cable arrived changed it now nothing ... Dead .. Thanks for the reply ..

    • @computerrepairservice2654
      @computerrepairservice2654  8 лет назад +1

      +Ricardo Nunes it's a thermal compound paste, which is necessary to be applied between a processor (cpu or gpu) and the heat sink, a heat from the processor to be dissipated better.

      it's a thermal compound paste and yes, it is necessary to be applied between the processor (cpu or gpu) and the heat sink. You can obtain it from any electronics store.
