I belong from Kokrajhar the heart centre of the Bodoland and I stay near CIT in Debargaon,CIT stands for central institite of technology really very happy that you came to our place.Aronai is a traditional scarf of Bodos and it represents valour,bravery,purity and culture of Bodos,there is an age old story of weaving an aronai overnight when the the Bodo fighters of those days has to go to fight in battlefield and that’s how the wife’s and loved ones of the warriors would weave it overnight for them
Actually colours do respresent different tribes along with different weaving patterns.Each tribe has unique differences of almost the same type of clothings.

There must be taxi's Olas here too in kokrajhar too since its mini city now ..and kokrajhar its like the heart of bodoland like many foreigner guest come to visit we can see the struggle..since our kokrajhar now in process of more development infrastructure...
