In a perfect world this defense continues on this crazy trajectory while the offense, specifically Slowik's play calling, starts to resemble what we all thought they could be and they get deep into the playoffs, maybe even the SuperBowl and some team hires Slowik so we can get a real OC next year. How awesome would that be? SuperBowl and a new OC...2 birds, one stone kind of deal.
Glad to see they are starting Fisher & Patterson like I had said back in training camp. Green is damaged goods mentally so the only competition moving forward would be Kendrick Greene, Scrubbs, or Snacks Mason at RG.

If the results from the Miami game are any indication, it looks like they may have found the right combination to get a better O Line. Question: Why did they wait so long to make this change given how much the O Line has struggled this year? 🤔

I hope they are listening. This is the best possible way to go. Not anybody fault they overpaid Tytus abd he is now our best guard and 2nd best RT. They'll just have to suck it up.

You guys have to stop saying the O line is good when its not. They gave 3 sacks to a team that cant sack anyone all year. Every time there's a change of time of year or player change people say oh yeah o line is good when its not.

The softness of this line is an affront. These lineman lack the aggressiveness, physicality, and mentality to be good run blockers. They should crave contact and physicality, want to impose their will and dominate in the run game. They lack pride in pass protection, they should be offended by what has been done to CJ this year. They should take sacks as a personal slight. Bigger, faster, stronger…..the evolution of the defensive lineman. It is time the Texans got some maulers on the interior, some tenacity on the edges.

The league are crying out for starting tackles so I think someone would take him on, although maybe after the draft. Big off season need is the whole o-line, probably 4 spots if you keep Fisher at RT. Secondary help after that…..

Try trading Howard and/or Mason. Draft guard and start Fisher at right tackle. That way you free up some capspace.

I mentioned the issues run blocking (didn't I?) that has to get better. It was fine. Not as bad as Indy and NY and GB pass blocking.
