At our last concert my husband won the contest to met them. They are absolutely the nicest people you will ever meet. Rob is really a cuddly teddy bear, he came to us first and started talking to us. Then Tim saw us and came over and started asking questions. It was truly an amazing evening I hope to be able to do it again. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
I love the videos of the "Story Time with Tim" (they're all taken by audience members). If they put out an album just of his story times I happily pay whatever they wanted. I don't know if you've seen his story about "Natemares" but it's funny as hell too. He has such great comic timing & such a dry sense of humour.

You don't need decent lyrics or music or even know how to sing anymore. The beautiful lyrics Tim was reciting at first is Billy Joel's song "And So It Goes". Tim & Peter Hollens recently did a great cover of it.
I get to see them in 5 days (and counting) and I'm soooo hoping they do a story time. lol Maybe if they write and record a song as stupid and incomprehensible as that one they'd actually get played on the radio and win the grammy or CMT award they SO deserve and wouldn't that be a shame considering all the beautiful songs they've already done.

I am so glad I grew up in 70s and 80s. Pop music today royally sucks. Takes 20 people to write the most boring drivvle that repeats same stupidity over and over. Prince wrote all his songs solo and played all instruments on recordings from what I've been told. My favorite music decade is the 60s. Musicians had to actually have talent because I seriously doubt their was autotune. The only current musicians I regularly listen to Home Free, VoicePlay, Michael Buble and Adele.
