Probably the worst deal in all the clips I've seen so far. 1 in 3 chance you look like an utter donkey after one more box - you're basically "paying" a few grand to take the chance of a guaranteed £75k.
There's NO WAY you'd have offered LESS for taking the LOWEST RED. What if the climax had been the 75k and the 100k? Banker should've thought about that. I definitely wouldn't have dealt.
The Banker played it perfectly there as Cyril dealt that seemingly forcing offer! I agree that was an overly cautious and inconsistent Deal, though, and this is one of the very clear cases where the old Deal adage "if you don't trust yourself to gamble later, don't gamble sooner!" applies.
Banker valued the box at £40k, the £50k goes out... seems reasonable to me that the offer comes down? Goes from a 75% chance of having a red in the box to 67%. It makes sense. I think it shouldn't have come down by 11 grand though, that's nuts.
Would you be OK to do 15th December 2010 please?
I've just tried that episode just moments ago and unfortunately the episode in question can't be uploaded due to copyright issues.
