It just hit me after years of watching this show how great the music that plays when the banker calls would be in a classic old school Resident Evil game. I feel like I've heard something similar in RE2.
It was an epic and incredible gameshow. I have to say that Daniel was a great man and controlled this match brilliantly. Also, the banker was well beaten and totally frightened by Daniel's resolve and determination. Most importantly, he certainly had the last laugh. Also, this was one of the strongest boards I have ever seen.
I feel like I’d no deal. Turning down 90k with the 250k still there and even the 100k to fall back on isn’t exactly pure greed it’s just logic. Then once you get the 75k you’re only 15k down which isn’t absolutely huge. Makes the mind boggle how much this money was worth back in 2007
He played perfectly even though he could have dealt at 90k. The thing is 50k's a winner too and that was the least he could win, so everything to go for. Maybe the 750 that kept him awake all night was his cue to deal when it was the only blue left.
ojideagu ,I agree totally, what was he thinking as you said the100000 was only 10000 more to the 90000 he was offered,I personally would have have dealt at 90000,he was getting greedy thinking he had 250000 in box16-Duz-T
I agree....take the 90k....because in order to win the 250 you have to be willing to play right through to the end which he probably wouldn't have done anyway....and the second best scenario based on luck of choosing numbers is "only" 10k better off than a guaranteed amount at that stage....id say the banker won on this one as he saved himself 15k
I've never seen this version of deal or nor deal before. Nice entertaining moderator and extremely nice, and very entertaining candidate. Thank you for the upload, even when it's 6 years ago.
Daniel actually made the third biggest no deal at the time when he turned down £90K! The second biggest was £101,000 with Morris and £125,000 with Kirsty
@The Yorkshireman Reacts Hope you enjoyed that moment of internet intellectual superiority, because it's very obvious from my 5-year-old comment I understood that. 🤡
"Usually" is quite the understatement, the odds of not having a final six squishdown are astronomically low. There are in fact only 7 possible combinations of a final six that result in a squishdown being unnecessary out of 74,613 different possible final sixes. So you could expect to see it happen about once every 10,000 Deal or No Deal games or so
In painful hindsight now..you gotta deal @ 90,000 pounds..but still Daniel played the most awesome game and he ultimately and most definitely had the last laugh beating Mr Banker..
I couldn't believe when he found the £5,000 - I remember predicting the 5th offer £75,000. Looks l was £15,000 away from guessing it correctly. Excellent that was 🙂👍!
In the US version 2 contestants accidentally broke the phone for the Banker to call, Howie was able to fix it one time, the other time, they had to get another phone all together. 8:55-9:08
Everyone seems criticize Daniel for not taking the 90k. After watching numerous other episodes, I think most people would have dealt too early at 44k, with a few even dumb enough to go at 20k.
The average at 5 box was 95,150 so (statistically speaking ofcourse) he was correct to no deal the 90k. If left the power 5 at 5 box I would think the offer could have been anywhere between 95k and 102k with my guess being 97k (5k lower than the average).
Whoa whoa whoa - wait. Watch at 10:07. He asks for Teresa, box thirteen. Noel asks Teresa to open box four. Teresa then confirms she actually has box four. Then it shows you Teresa opening her box... which IS number thirteen. Can anyone shed any light on that bizarre few seconds please?
David Whitfield At the start of the game he talked about numerology; how all numbers in the system are between 1 and 9. He chose thirteen which is valued at four because 13 = 1+3 which makes four. They were making a joke about it. :)
90K was a snap deal. He was offered just slightly before EV at the 5 box stage. He took a horribly unnecessary risk with the one blue still in play. Sounds crazy I know but saying no deal was actually an awful play. Having the four highest boxes at that point is just insane. Run better imo
How much do u think the banker would offer if he left the power 5 at the final 5? I think £100,000. I must admit I would of dealt at the £90,000 offer though that was such a great offer and close to the average fantastic board though.
Here's a question say he left the £50,000 & £250,000 in final 2 boxes what do you think he'd be offered? I think at least £150,000 and I think he would of gone for it.
How does he not accept £90000? Ridiculous level of greed. Life changing sum, only one box being substantially higher at the time. Take the 90k and you will never regret it
He holds the record for the biggest 5 box offer ever. That game was extraordinary to say the least.
Noel Edmunds is so good at this.
I still remember this, Daniel was so interesting and cool
An insane game for someone who so deserved the best! Daniel did it well and in style

I always loved the sounds
Deal or no deal background music is very good thinking music

I would've dealt 90k, but 75k is totally fine with me! Well done to him! He had a massive strong boards!
Thanks for spoiling the video top comment clown.

27:40 You have to take 90k, only 1 box is higher. The 100,000 is not worth the risk.
ojideagu at the time he could have won £250,000, so 2 boxes were higher
ojideagu ,I agree totally, what was he thinking as you said the100000 was only 10000 more to the 90000 he was offered,I personally would have have dealt at 90000,he was getting greedy thinking he had 250000 in box16-Duz-T

Agreed, but if he keeps the 250, he would have been offered north of £100k
90k was very high offer ... par was 84k. Mathematically incorrect to turn it down and it cost him 15k. But he still won free money so whatevs i guess

It's a shame he didn't take the 90,000 but considering the board he had, understandable. Fantastic result.
16:50 - 17:30 comedy gold “I just want you to think faster” 😂😂😂 Daniel was legendary!
25:00 - this is usually the part where the 6 remaining money paddles are supposed to "squish" down on screen. Usually.
But because the boxes were opened in such a way, that it was no longer possible.

@@clarencebrown8471 i know that but I was saying it also happened overseas.
And thats me with the cap on :) lol oh wished I could play my game again and not take it so serious :/
I often thought this would be how it would go if Hercule Poirot played the game! 😂
BRING THIS SHIT BACK 2019
Everyone seems criticize Daniel for not taking the 90k. After watching numerous other episodes, I think most people would have dealt too early at 44k, with a few even dumb enough to go at 20k.
If he left the whole power 5 do you think the offer would be in six figures? The average is £102,000
The average at 5 box was 95,150 so (statistically speaking ofcourse) he was correct to no deal the 90k. If left the power 5 at 5 box I would think the offer could have been anywhere between 95k and 102k with my guess being 97k (5k lower than the average).
If he got a deal every turn itd be perfect since his 4 box was even better as he got rid of the 750.
I'd certainly have dealt at 90k, if not earlier.
20k isn't dumb.
You've no idea how the game would unfold. Any box could completely change the game.
What a game, dealt at £75,000, box chosen contained £50,000, difference £25,000.
He didn't really beat the banker did he, he was offered £90K and lost and went home with £75k.
"lost and went home with £75k"
Sign me up
Idk what world u living in where getting £75k is losing
He made a profit as the box was 50k..
He was very, very, lucky! I'd have dealt long before he did! At any point you might lose the 250k! He should certainly have dealt at 90k!
29:40 Daniel Did It!
He was a character one of the best games
Gustavo Fring before owning his restaurant:
Am really intriqued to know what the offer would be if he left the power 5 at 5 box I think it would be £100,000.
To be clear, he beat the banker, but he did not spank the banker because he did not take the largest offer in the game.
At 5 box Daniel must have had the banker wetting his pants with fright😂
THERE'S NOT A BREAK!!!!!
This is why ksi and Deji became so popular
I would have had the perfect game, can’t turn that 90k offer down
Whoa whoa whoa - wait.

David Whitfield thats because 1+3 is 4, this is something that Daniel used to play the game

Does this show still come on?
I stopped watching when they changed thwe e way you play the game but these days were classic!
nope it finished in August 2016

21:31 and Noel would Infact be wrong in 2014!
Paul Gascoigne at 33.35
UNREAAALLL
20:02 ADAM!
I would have taken the 90k
Why it would have be over 100;000 very the top four will have all the power
Sarah Butcher wouldn't risk it-he went down by 15k
With there another red would you have said no deal
It's even better than Laura (250k)
I would have offered 89K
It's endemol not endermol
uncleeeeeeeee
He lost to the banker - he was offered 90,000 and he turned it down
no because he sold a £50K box for £75K so he still won!
That's like saying he turned down a 100k offer, dealt at 1000 and his box had 1p in it...HE LOST
shut up idiot!!!!!
He lost to the banker - if you can't get your head around that...then you are the idiot.
so are you saying that unless someone spanks the banker they area a loser?
I didnt do so well lol
