This was excellent. Thank you. I've been searching for a CR course to enroll in. After watching 1 minute of your video, I went to Udemy and purchased the course. It was on sale! That's cool. Thank you.
Thanks. I never got the SAP Business One connection type working (login failed, despite details all being correct) and fallback to OLE DB - just came to see what you were doing right that I was doing wrong and well, turns out you prefer OLE DB anyway.
Haha, that SAP Business One type connector is a complete waste of time. It never works, provides no value, is a complete frustrating piece of junk. I immediately switch it to OLE DB. Anyone who gets past the first week of Crystal Reports will already know enough basic SQL / HANA and the View System Information trick to find all the columns they need. No reason to sanitize even the db names. Doesn't make sense to me. Rock on!
Is the same course on Udemy ? So you suggest to use conditional suppression, but then I'll have to type the text on the report. My idea, if I have only one layout to manage all the languages, I'd like to use the tables OMLT and MLT1 to search the coresponding text.
Michael Taylor , Hi yes i took ur course. I have SAP rpts pack ( quote, orders, AR, AP... ), and those after conversion to Hana appears empty. :) I have as well some rpts with parameters ( dates from - to ), they crashs !! I was wondering if such SAP Hana pack exist somewhere , or you can share something already tested. cheers
MIKE! hi, your next crystal report video. Could that be a print layout? more specifically on how to link the tables properly. Or tips and tricks on setting up a print layout.
Hey Mike! Great course, quarter of the way done. Do you have any plans on adding a SQL course using what is available in SAP. Just using the conditions, inner, outer, etc. joins, filters, and other information?

Mike, How do I change the localisation of the layout, let's say for the sales quotation? In the Layout and report manager screen...
