- I watched some really cool video that RUclipsr Northwest Catch had made and I thought I would give making some Tube Fly a try myself. It really worked for the Kokanee at Bullards Bar. My buddy and I caught our limits on some of the Flys I made. My DJI Action Camera fell in the lake so I only had footage from my phone and underwater camera. Enjoy
Those are some great flys. I will have to try and build a few for next summer.
@@smthcrmnal26 Thanks! Is your season over. Try them in August
I have one more trip planned in 2 weeks. I will try to make some tube flies.
Pretty cool. Awesome when you catch ‘em on your own stuff!!! 👍👍👍
It so satisfying to catch them on your own hand made gear
Thank you! I bought some pieces from Amazon and Hareline hareline.com/items?category=Body+Material&line=Micro+Tubing
Nice video! Great job in the flies and very informative play by play 👍 Juliana says we need to buy some off you for trout fishing ✌🎣 keep on fishing on DIB DAB!
Thanks J, We need to get you and Juliana on some Kokanee
Nice video. I wanna start tying Kokanee lures now. I’ve tied fly fishing flies for years.
nice One🤙
Great stuff bud!!!
Thanks man
Can you tell me where you get a hold of that red tubing?

I believe I got some on Amazon also
Plastic tubed cotton swabs come in several colors and work very well for tube flies. The red wire from Romex house wiring works very good. Strip enough insulation to expose 1/2" of wire, chuck the wire in your vise or Vise-Grips, tie the fly on the insulation, pull the fly off the wire when done tying.
What tubing do you use ?

Looks fishy. Where do you get your tying material from.
