I bet if you looked into bib angle/length in relation to the center of mass/gravity and how deep the bait dives, you'd have some interesting findings.
Excellent, excellent, very informative video. Maybe make it so people can bid on your lures but set minimum price because these beauties are worth their weight in gold, if not more. Just make sure that you have molds of all of them.
So awesome video, everytime I learn something new and useful. Can I suggest another video? About epoxy coat , how do you get to the quantity of epoxy resin A and resin B, depends the cm of the lure and the wood to floating or sinking. Cause every resin would need like some grams more than other brand names i guess. Please, thank you Franko.

as we already debated on the past, you showed us 2 main methods to get the volume: submerging or density.
Big difference between the 2 methods, several grams!
I use to get my volume using both methods then get an average number between.

Great post! Very informative. Yeah, ebay store sound like a good idea. I use store bought top water, with no lip. Walk the dog style. Do you have any videos of simple lures? Like broom handle lures. A little less though heavy. I will experiment on my own. But, would appreciate any thoughts that you may have.Thanks for posting.
Sure I have made lures from brush handles, popsicle sticks, wood pall, dowels, pens, you name it.
You are going to confuse a lot of builders if you don’t include the hooks and the weight of the hooks in their location. That will change a lot of variables as to where to add weight in the lure itself.

I have made 6-9 designs (crankbaits) and I have always been 100% sure it would work but I think 1 or many 2 worked without any adjustments. How many lures have you done if you would guess? And how many didn't work? Love your videos!
I have made something like 300 ish one-of-a-kind designs but many more of the lures I cast in molds. I do a lot of experimentation so I have made hundreds of test lures and, I would guess, at least 25% fail on the first try and some never work at all.
Set a price... then have a draw to purchase... fairest way to do it while raising some $...
I agree! This is the best way. And this is the best lure building channel on YT. No one else explains all the steps like Franco.

Thanks for your content great information as always. One area I struggle with is general proportions, especially with swimbaits. One general rule I have run into is 1.5"/12" width/length. But there must be more to it. do you have any thoughts on how deep a lure should be in relation to the length of the lure? To give some context I am trying to replicate your favorite lure (3d Printed) V1 is 110mm long 20mm at the widest and 30mm deep. I am doing a test print now but in my mind's eye I am thinking it should either be thinner or deeper maybe both
Go with your got...make the lure your own and experiment...there are no hard-and-fast rules.
Hello, Sir. My lures do not have any action (they are already painted,with hooks,varnished) can this be fixed by adding a lip or do you need to change the position of the load? How to repair things linę this? Which methods isbthe best? Thanks master.
Adding a lip is a good way to add action.
