Jonghyun is such an amazing soul. Not only is he a musical genius but his personality and character is what everyone should strive for. His songs brings a sense of healing to listeners. His contributions to social issues actually brings awareness, support, and change. He deserved so much more and my only hope is that more people will listen to his music and discover what a wonderful soul he is.

I only got into kpop at the beginning of 2020. I was in my room for 2 weeks with covid. I always thought kpop was all bubble gum pop, which I don't like. However, to pass the time I decided to at least see what all the fuss was about. I was very much surprised with what I hear. I started first with EXO and Mamamoo(both being my male and female groups) After that I kept getting recommendations for Taemin so I check him out and I love him!! I saw that he was also part of a group so, I thought "if Taemin is this good, his group must be as well.) I haven't heard a lot of SHINee songs but I have loved everything I heard a lot. Jonghyun caught my attention because of his voice and stage presence. On one of the songs I listened to I noticed he was not there. Same with another one. And then my friend told me the sad news. I am still very new to them but after watching some of their behind the scenes footage I can see why he is missed so much and why the fans love him. He just had that charisma and talent that drew you in. He will always be remembered and he will always be loved.
