I stopped at a Cracker Barrel going from Texas to Kentucky. I was 1 of 8 campers when I get there & some time in the night we gained 3 more. Many of us enjoyed chatting in the morning. My bedroom closets are so short. My shirts get all bunched up. I love the RV life but as a widow I really miss having someone to share the driving, help navigate & see things with. It’s so nice to see you all doing a trip again. Enjoy every minute.

Nice to see you on the road again. All good tips, especially the the bosses hanging clothes tip (hint hint John). Starting slowly is a strong recommendation at the beginning of every trip. Get back into the feeling of the driving/towing situation. Enjoy the adventure and be careful out there.

@RVOddCouple the one that I'm going to get is 24 foot long and the kitchen is in the backend of it. I'm looking at it because I may have to move one day . I have to have something for me and my 8 Chihuahuas to live in. They ages are from 25 years old down to 3 years old. I watch all of your videos whenever I can. Congratulations on getting the Chapel built in 98 days and it's beautiful.

It would have been faster to take I-24 outside of Nashville. Go north to Evansville, IN, and run up Hwy 41 to 64 toward St. Louis. That's how we go when we drive from Fl to IN.

John, Mercedes, I am going the opposite way. Downsizing from my Class A to a TT, hopefully a lot easier than the big A. With the present quality control issues I am watching, can't quite convince myself to put out 35,000 for a rig which is questionable in build quality. Mt Allegro is 24 years old and would trust it to drive across the country, but as I am now single, it's a bunch too much, have fun fokes.

Yes My Pillow toppers are great .We used ours in our rv.On the mattress that came in our 2021 Sundance.We are living in ours now and also the Queen size mattress from Co's Co are great also and you don't need your pad but I will always use mine from My Pillow guy when we get a home again .And my grandkids will use it in there room.

Try not to rush. It looks like a lot of rain, is coming your way. One other thing. For some reason, class c motorhomes in that size. Go out of alignment easier than most units. God Bless.

Its good to see you back on the road again. We love the night driving through cities. Its just so much easier. Our rig trailer and truck is 45 feet which is short for most RV seems long for us. Getring ready in a few weeks to put our home on wheels in it seasonal sit this year!

Oh this was so funny! You guys are great. And this is so real life. We've done all of that! I like those plastic bins. We are going to look into those to see if they fit our Class C. Well, we are getting our house ready to sell and soon we'll be getting the RV ready for our cross country move. So, this was a great video. AND I love hearing Sage talk. I remember the days when you were waiting for that and then she said the Lord's prayer. Have a wonderful trip!

My go to snack for driving are carrot sticks and sometimes celery sticks. The crunch of the veggies keeps me alert. And much healthier too.

@@RVOddCouple Ours is about the same size as yours and we have been everywhere out here in the west with it. And its also great for boondocking in the wild. Its just the right size and fits in most camping spots too. We absolutely love it!

Nothing would excite my Cat like when I said "Lets Go Bye Bye" & it apply every time your hitting the road anew, its just an answer to stagnation. I made a walking chant many years ago,it goes. "Gods House is in my Heart today, Gods House is in my Heart today, Gods House is in my Heart today" You sing this chant in Rhythm with your steps & Breath it in & out for Hours & bliss & Joy is found.

The very first RV trip we made, I took the RV Odd couple's advice and rented an RV. Excellent advice! It was the exact same model as yours and though I liked it ok, I did not realize that the bed was a slide out. I rented the RV so my daughter could breast feed my grandson who was only a few months old, & I thought it would be great if she could do so comfortably on the bed in the back. When I looked at the RV, the slide out was out, & being a newbie, I didn't realize you have to fold the bed up. There's just no graceful way to do that! Lol! I admit that I was disappointed, but I was glad I listened to the advice!When I purchased my motorhome, I ended up getting a 31 footer with the dinette as the single slide out. I LOVE it! Definitely can relate to the nerves at the beginning of the trip, & driving below the speed limit. And I always stay at Cracker Barrel!
Now I wanna go on a trip! Planning for the fall at thunder canyon, God willing and the creek don't rise... 😊
