- After a few weeks detecting other spots to mix it up a bit we are returning to our magical 1600's hammered COB filed. We have had tremendous success at this field so far with 18 coins from the 1600's including 5 old world hammered silver cobs, almost 300 old buttons, 2 gold rings, and even a hammered Roman coin from the 3rd century! Well this return trip we try to hit a new area of the field but the hot spots just called our name so we worked our way back to those and tried to keep the magic going! This field may never stop giving old treasures so we're gonna enjoy the digging for as long as we can!

Doug whining that Lynne wasn't doing any better spraying than him was the best part of the whole video 😂😂😂
I’ll try to do a little whining every week. It’s what I do best
@@dogtagdoug6751 keep whining and I'll keep watching 😂
Deal
Perhaps he should've been allowed to snooze a little longer while awaiting Richard at the start if the day
😅
I LAUGHED SOOOOOO HARD LISTENING TO JASON GUESS WHAT CHARLIE DUG IN FRONT OF THE DEER STAND,TOOOO FUNNY!!!!!!!
SO much fun!!!!
Great to see Musket Ball Matt joining y'all once again
And Jason, thanks for your reply to my questionable find... the talcum powder top thing. And thanks for pointing out the floral pattern on the top. I also thought it was fancy insignia that was unreadable to my modern understandings.
In my old Home Town, a maybe 4' x 7' heavy piece of slab concrete was moved, and I
detected 7 1800's coins from that small area. One was an 1853 silver 3 cent piece..
Doug was correct there are 2 types of 3 cent US coins. The other was referred to as a 3 cent nickel and had a liberty bust instead of the star. Great video guys.
Born ready..haha
I do love the coins, but that stone! ❤️❤️❤️ Congratulations Rich!
Awesome find!
Rock and roll !!!
Awesome find Doug.
Nice show as usual. I'm working on a battery-operated water sprayer. I'll keep you posted.
It's apsolutelly amazing to see people enjoying in this hobby together.. we understand that, and also try to film hapiness and that passion and feeling on the fields.. Cheers from friends from southern Europe!
It’s great to hear from our friends from all over the world. We live in an often ugly world, so if we can bring some peace and harmony to our viewers, we’re happy to do so.
@@dogtagdoug6751 YOu arre welcome!
So wonderful words..
Exactly that is the reason, whywe start to make videos..
if u got time, you can check them out..
Enjoy and stay positive!
Nice hunt guys thanks for sharing!!!!
Definitely think Rich's silver coin is a Charles 1st hammered especially after seeing it under his scope
I think it is too! Thanks to you!
@@RichVanWinkle37 No problem Rich I'm glad I brought my spinks book of English coins with me.
Awesome finds. Thanks for sharing!!!
The small silver coin that Rich found might be a hammered English half penny.
Nice work guys!!!
Zooming way in to Rich's coin, you can definitely see something
The matching buttons that were spread some distance.....came off the jacket of a guy being dragged by his horse.
So munch fun, great wow stuff. Blessings to all the folks. Still nothing in wyo that old. Or I have to find aztex gold . Lol. Blessings
Awesome finds! Thanks for sharing your adventures.
I love those “star buttons” heck, I love almost any buttons. 😂 ( I probably have a few thousand buttons)😂😂😂
:)) hahaha!
That is J.D.'S signature emblemNothing runs like a Deere.White Tail.😊
I'm with Rich, I enjoy the old native american stuff just as much as the coins.
Not a bad day in the field
Rich, you are right,it’s a broken mano, used for grinding. Antique pestle
Man I’m inbetween Plymouth and Boston. We don’t have many farm fields to hit. Usually try yards which are good at times. The one old farm we did (1720s) was amazing! Love to go out your way to hit some farm fields
Dejavu was looking up the trim got caught up in looking it up than I heard-
See you on the next one where have I heard that it was a mind thing nice finds
I think Rich's holed silver coin might be a Mexico silver 1755 Spanish half reale. If you hold it so the hole is at about 5:00, you can see the top of one of the tower crowns just below the left end of the crack. The crack would be running from about 10:00 to 3:00, and end on the M.
Congratulations guys, another great hunt! That field has been amazing..
“What’s up guys!” Awesome finds for everyone. What was Charlie’s silver coin? Great video enjoyed coming home and watching.
Can someone please get Lynne a metal detector, imagine being out there all day watching everyone else detect and find things!!!!
HAhaha!!! You got that right! My wife tell that to me all the time :)
Awesome finds!
Awesome can't wait to watch it later with Turd Ferguson
Rich,,, nicest rock find all year!!! LMBO,.. very cool
Who Hoo!
All the Buttons, popped off some strongman's shirt when he flexed for the ladies...
Been catching up on videos, I haven't had my detector out in almost a year. I'm going to have to go soon
Here we go!!! The incredible cob spot 😃
The president in 1891 was Benjamin Harrison from 1889 - 1893 and was the 23th president of United States 🇺🇸
Awesome.
Omg you guys are in the field of Dreams
Perfect!!!!
Great Hunt everyone. Doug love the 1852 Trime Congrats. Jason Congrats on the Copper. Charlie the Deer Pin is very cool. Love all the Buttons IHP and the small Silver Coins. Take Care Everyone
Great Day!!! Great Finds!!! Congratulations Doug!!! Everyone had a Great Day!!! God Bless Us All!!!
Thanks Lori
And on and on it goes! You all are blessed with some of the most incredible sites EVER! Great finds everywhere, keep up the good work- looking forward to next week already!
Always enjoy your videos!
Great finds!
Good call, Rich, that hammer stone might also been used as a grinding mano...?
My pick today, Charlie with the John Deere pin.
I'd agree you can always find more coins but they'll most likely never find another 100 year old John Deere pin.
Doug has been on time out from the water bottle for a couple of years now hasn't he?
When does Lynne's nickname get revealed?
.... and with Rich chasing Native tools, he should now be known as Ricara Rich.
Oh yeah - great hunt!
the silver coin could have fancy detail and design on it.
Always love watching you Jason! Anyone else from Canada here?
Yup.
@@MrBottlecapBill sweeeeeet
Mississauga, Ontario here. :>D I watch every week.
The John deer pin is awesome good find Charlie. All good finds you guys .
I am sure there was a invite to this site , maybe it got lost in the mail I am sure .. Great Hunt
That field might need a John Deere tractor and a plough set to fourteen or sixteen inches depth run over it some day perhaps. Imagine what that'd bring closer to the coil. Thanks for taking me on another hunt with you guys. I appreciate it. Btw, on Sunday past, I hit on an Iron Age terret ring with my LG. It's in v g condition for it's age. The ring has a furrow cut into the bronze from extensive use of several sets of reins. The chariot mounting section piece is intact, though slightly bent . It was sat at just over fourteen inches; 'sat me down'. ATB from me in UK.
new to group !! I've watched every video at least 5 times. love metal detecting here in Michigan
Thanks Terry
@@dogtagdoug6751 your welcome Doug
Another fun show !
Another amazing vid. Just WOW.
Charlie is beating that field like it owed him money.
He’s beating it like a rented mule!
Another Awesome day and finds. Congrats to all 👊
Such a magical diggers dream!
Your finds are always so great. Just love them old coins.
Great show as always, what a permission!!!!
Charlie that field is yours. Great digs all.❤
Your show never disappoints. Great find
Lynne's voice sounds completely different when she's behind the camera.
Good job, Jason. That field rocks! ❤LL
Excellent and very enjoyable video thank you for sharing this with us six stars
Your coins are shy today. Fun though.
Hi guys, love where you are.,it looks like a great field.
Matt's copper right after Rich's punched silver. When it was mentioned that you thought you saw a hint of identification, I definitely think it looked like a super slick Britannia image there.
The field on my dreams!!!
I don’t want to get too carried away, but the hint of a legend on Charlie’s silver looks like an Elizabethan penny, maybe an early Stuart.
HAhaha :))
The first silver coin looked like a seated dime I zoomed in a looks like a R on the bottom and a wreath or a pillar like on a half reale
I love those little trimes. 🙂. I have one I found in England with a hole in it most probably lost from a charm bracelet. 😀.
Wow! You put a hole in a Trime, you don’t have much coin left
Your group
Is my favorite to watch. Keep it up.
Thanks Tom
does rich and lynn have facebook pages or their own youtube channels---they are both so knowledgeable I would love to be able to see more from them because I learn so much from both of them...same with charlie
We dont have any pages that would give you more knowledge. But i think about doing something like that.
Yessss lets gooo boyz
👍👍
You mean a postal stamp was 3 cents in 1852. That is hard to believe
Hello Quarter Hoarder,Dog Tag Doug,Rich,Charlie ,Matt and Lynn
Hello Gregory!
Check out the treasure dog of maine. He gets some insane stuff off colonial beaches with the minelab equinox series
1851 to. 1873. 3 varieties on the trime
61 on at pro with the tornado coil
Saludos
Hola Ricardo
I've got 3 trimes
345th like, love these videos, so interesting what you guys find every week, so cool
I am up here in Newfoundland Canada...and I have a confession to make...I have a crush on Lynn! I swear its not just the fact that I bet her partner is welcomed on your hunts..but it helps! So jealous of all you guys but in particular Lynn's husband... also jealous of Doug's looks but that's another story.
I'm with you I had a crush on her as well until the hoarder let me know she is married.
How much more can it give??? Charlie, have you thought of bottling and selling official used Charlie headbands or something that has been blessed by you for good luck?
Half Dimes - I joke that any halfdime other than 1853 must be counterfeit. I’ll have to add 1852 to my “Legit List” 😁
Love that John Deere piece! Nice grindstone Rich! Wonder if the large metate stone is piled with the all the other field stones on the field edge. Enjoyed the video, though I am about to load up my truck and drive the 14 hours to see this field of dreams!
the star on the button almost looks like an edelweiss flower. Was there an early German community there?
Pewter button has 6 star points and 7 dots = 13. Significant?.
♥
Presume there must have been houses there at one time
I see 1869 on the trine..
Actually an 1853
I can't believe Rich found one of the Sankara stones from Temple of Doom!!
That kid finds it all
Could that 1st coin be from someone trying to make a love token? 1st thing they would do is shave all the detail off a silver dime and then create their own artwork .
Absolutely love being with you folks. Your enthusiasm is such a joy.
(May I suggest using “disk” instead of “circle” when referring to unidentifiable coins)
How about concentric if plain old round doesn't suffice?
Are they hammered silvers?
You're all gonna need tetanus shots with Rich throwing forks outta the dirt around!😅
I am new to this site and I am curious...
When you go to these private properties, are you able to keep your finds? Give to the owner? Sell and split profits? Donate?
All of the above, except for selling. We’d rather give the property owners or Historic Society important finds. Most we just keep for our collection, if not wanted by an owner.
What state are you detecting in?
Mostly New Jersey and Pennsylvania
Charlie found a thin Indian aka Thindian.
The strap guide Rich found looks similar to the saddle I made for my wife when I put it on her and crack the wip and say let's go Nelly it's like Friday night at the rodeo that way I get a little more action out of her because her name is Ava, in the past I did the same thing she bucks so hard I fell off and almost broke my hip
The silver coin was a miss hit from Doug when he was making coins back in the day when he was a young man 😅
I did it all when I was young.😂
Rich now you can get hammered broham :)
