Yupari, Today's demonstration had an exceptional outcome! I have become ""hooked" on your videos. I have painted for years, but no art teacher ever emphasized the planes of the face and taught me how to blend them together as you have. It is unusual for such an accomplished artist to be a master instructor too! I love your laid back personality, and your commitment to help others. Hi Yupari, what are the dimensions of your painting? It’s tricky to tell on camera.
I wish there was some more precise information in these tutorials, not just "I like to re-draw this line a thousand times" , or "I probably should make this more lighter", I have watched a number of these tutorials, and it seems to me that artist have no clue about how to teach, I recommend going and watching a programming tutorial or a guy fixing his washing machine, perhaps that would give you some insight into the way people want to get the infromation provided to them. What, how and why. I think that I will drop these paining tutorials and just teach myslef to paint.

I agree with you everyone can observe art from the social media but the feeling is not the same. The stress of having to bring your art somewhere to be judge by someone is not their anymore, if people dont like it you can just shut them up, which dont help artist we need that critisism. But i am against competition who are those people that can just decide who is the best or not? I think that taste in art canot be judge but only admire or not.
What kind of critisism? Is it ok if we write positive?
It need to be positive their is no ppint to tell someone your painting are ugly maybe you just dont like they style but if you say your light is maybe on the wrong side or wrong place that is constructive
