I lost my wife to cancer 3 years ago. When I’m alone and missing her I listen to Colin Hay’s “ I just don’t think I’ll ever get over you”. It is almost as if he wrote this for me. The song seems to bring her spirit into the room with me for a brief moment. I feel like it is a gift from Colin Hay. To me this is true art. Experiencing and interpreting emotion, and then conveying it to your observers/audience and have them experience that emotion. And maybe apply it to their own lives. In other words, Colin Hay speaks to me and to my heart. What a kind soul!

This is probably the best word to describe the man's legacy.I loved him as a young teen,loved him as an adult,got my son to love him same,and now getting my granddaughter to sleep with his music.love it when she touches the screen on any of his clips and says to me " musique,Papi,musique".she doesn't speak properly yet,but she knows good music.❤thank you for this gift Mr. Colin Hay.

Just saw Colin in Monmouth NJ absolutely fantastic. Nevery realized how great a singer song writer type of talent he was. Used to play Men at work songs in my band, now at 62 I'm into what he's doing now. thanks Colin, I'm buying a new acoustic because of you!
I've been a traveling one man show across the U.S. off and on for over 25 years. We all need inspiration no matter how long we've been playing but especially as we grow older. I am a fan of Colin's but I found this particular little show very inspiring. So much so that I sent it do my father who is also a song writer. Thanks for having him and thank you Colin!! There are a few artists or people I would be excited to get a signed poster/item from and Colin Hay is one of them. Not asking about the poster so much as just saying that he is awesome! I am just happy to have these amazing acoustic versions of these songs.
Bill Jensen, FYI, Colin is out touring hope he will be in your area. He usually signs items after the show and folks get a couple minutes to voice their appreciation. I saw him about 4 years ago, so excited I have a ticket to see him next month.
I have seen so many shows... a lot of the big names and NO ONE can entertain like Colin does. He can make you laugh and cry and take you to places all in one sentence. A troubadour. It's disgraceful how the courts treated him and how it effected Greg Ham. He has experienced all the highs and lows but remains humble and good humored. He can be the heart of a band or stand up in a room without a mic surrounded big names in the music industry, solitary and everyone will be spellbound.
I didn’t even know he could play a guitar. I thought he was just a singer with Men at Work. Boy was I wrong. He’s one of the best guitarist out there. Have always loved his unique voice in Men at Work and solo, whatever. He’s a music genius! What a lyricist too. He should be playing in front of 50,000 people instead of 100. He truly is amazing!!
I hate to use the word under-rated (cause it’s used too much) but that’s all it is. He got dropped by some idiotic record label in the 90s so you know what he did. He started his own damn label. He’s the man!! Does what he loves to do and not just for the $$ either. It’s his passion. He’s never given up, and never will. One of the best singers and guitarists ive ever heard. Go Colin Hay!!

Colin Hay's voice has not changed a bit in fact maybe gotten evern better. I think back when I picked up Business As Usual the Men at Work album from 81 or 82, I thought to my 14 year old self this singer is awesome and so was the band.....Band broke up Colin not wanting to let the music die has traveled the world with his songs old and new one of the most underated singer songwriters. I wish him all the good luck one can have and hope all the old Men at work fans and new generation of fans support him on his career. Wishing you all the best Colin wherever you may be.
Collin Hay songwriter, is the only person that I am jealous of in this world, I have had free recording offered, won a song contest, and have had a song accepted on the BBC website "Celtic Roots", and whenever I sing (can't do really) my work I get a lot of interest shown but I still can't get out of my bedroom, which is not for sleeping of course, but he has all the other things a writer needs, as I've said, Collin Hay songwriter, is the only person that I am jealous of in this world, so please don't ever collapse your talent and keep me feeling jealous forever.
There aren't enough words to depict the wonder of his best work or good enough ways to capture how delightful he is to see play live. But if you watch his documentary and pay some attention, you'll realize that it's not just that America is the Land of Second Chances (which maybe it still is), but far more than that - that the world is a chance at redemption every day you're alive, no matter how much you've lost, or how many dead ends or wrong paths you've trod. The timber of Colin's heart, as Joe Pugg may refer to it as, is a mighty oak indeed.
