I'm currently running Kamas, Dorats, Gyaos, Mothra, and Gurion with Gamera, and it's working! I don't win every fight, but it's a fun and frantic style that tends to end with like 12-13 units arriving at the opposing leader all at once, mostly shield, and it leaves me with the ability to drip-feed reinforcements. GBL Gamertag Megaladong Megalon and Guiron with Showa Gamera = Juice Squad/Protector of Children Turtle Team I'm thrilled that I dumped a gmat or two to get Guiron to lvl 10, Megalon lvl 12 and Mothra at lvl 16. I've been killing it
From my experience, having megalon and gyao's with new Gamera is pretty good, and Gamera seems to have somewhat of an aoe/piercing effect on his attack as well
He's a lot tankier than he seems, and his aoe damage is pretty good at taking down swarms or grouped up enemies, even if the Introduction says he's weak on his own. Personally I think building a deck full of 3 cost or less units is asking for aoe units to delete them, but just adding the Rebirth Gyaos alongside OG Gamera works pretty well, so you can keep your deck cost high if you enjoy using the FW Energy card. Compared to Gigan Rex I think he's decent, but nothing special. Overall he's good.
I cannot seem to edit or delete my previous comment. I have been only able to play top tier people in 18 hours of gaming so far over the last 2 days. Is there a reason why I am only playing people who have been ranked number one in all those hours? There were a few who have been ranked 2-16, but I am nowhere near this . Especially when I look at the development of the pieces they play. I have played since season 2 and would love to know if there is a way I can play ranked matches with people of my own ranking. I am not having fun. I am curious. Do you think my challengers have any fun playing me hundreds of times over months with me never providing any challenge whatsoever?
Since it might be a min before we get gyaos, could you cover the buffs? I wanna know if you think burning g is viable. Plus if g54t has no fans, then I'm dead.

I agree he has piercing. Haven't noticed AOE but sorta seems that way.
