ALLIGATOR JUMPS !

After visiting our tree farm, I was driving home in my JEEP when a young gator paused in the roadway. I got out to shoo him off the road. Just as I finished shadowing him, he did a pretty impressive leap AWAY from me.
We are in a long drought here in north central Florida (Levy County) and the gators have been on the move as their usual water holes dried up. This happened the morning after an all-night gentle rain.
