- In this video, I wrap up the sheet metal and body work on the undercarriage of my 1959 Buick project. After everything’s prepped and smoothed out, I apply Raptor Liner bed liner for a durable, protective finish. This step ensures the undercarriage is not only sealed but also ready to withstand the elements. Follow along as I show the process, from prep work to spraying the Raptor Liner, and get another glimpse into the progress of this Buick restoration!

Your attention to the details on the firewall is going to be one of the focal points when your eyes look into the engine bay . Excellent body work the Buick is going to be around for a long time. 🙏
Nice work, a really solid foundation for a beautiful automobile! Also enjoyed seeing Dinosaur Land!

@solidsnakesimulation666 thanks! It’s been a much better week!
There’s not much you can’t do. Tell me how you came to be so good at bringing these old cars back to life? Very talented guy. Loving the videos
It’s nice to have them clean and neat underneath that’s for sure 😎
Such a delight watching
bro, great job from what you started with .from NEW ZEALAND .
VERY NICE!! Excellent work! You have a good eye for detail and the ability to carry it out. The Buick floor should be perfect for another 100 years or so!
I've often wondered if people have thought the same way or along the same line as I while they're either looking at or working on cars. This is the fruits of our grandparents' labor. (The cars, that is.) This is our lineage and history, at least for the American made cars. We didn't get to see our grandparents while they were in their heyday.. so in a way, these are it. These are representations of that time and of that 'heyday'. While I've been watching along, whether it's been on this Buick or on the Plymouth, that's what's been rambling through the back of my mind. Is it being done right and proper? Would our grandparents approve of and be proud of the work that's being done? I think that you're nailing it, Chad. There's thought and care put into all of the efforts. Thank you and God bless you brother. (I still kinda wish that i lived closer to give you a hand... okay, I thought about the snow/ cold for a second.. maybe itd be better if I just helped from spring to fall. lol) Wishing you all a happy, safe, and very blessed life everyone. ✌️
i like watching you work.
Looking good.
Love that Buick ! Shop tip when edge grinding welds with a cutoff wheel I use 2 or 3 discs stacked together it cuts smoother and is more controlled than a single .
@@manicmechanic9117 that’s a good tip. Thanks. I will absolutely try that.
Fun to watch! Keep it up!
@@mhein681 thanks!
Nice job!
Brilliant music so relaxing and its like your at peace with what your doing .
Love your channel bro 👍 top work .
You do some real nice work! Great stuff!
Splendid 💯
I like the textured look of Raptor Liner. I bought some for the underside of my truck...what I DON'T like about itt is that it has a shelf life. I was unaware of this when I bought it like 5 years ago, and recently discovered. lol
Mint
Always enjoy the content bud good job
@@scottrandal3219 appreciate it. This was a little different. But hey. Gotta experiment when I can.
@RottenBuick yeah always enjoyable to watch the projects are coming out good
That thing would make a badassed door slammer pro street machine with tubs and big rubber out back, skinnies up front, big honking supercharger and injection system above the hood line. .. 😁 or bone stock with some nice wheels..
Can't wait to see this one finished too. Love both of these cars. That light anomaly was interesting. I definately think you're not alone there Chad. Maybe you should set up a camera over night to see if you see or hear anything? Could be another option for your channel. Car and paranormal activity 😊 Hope you're feeling better now! Stay safe pal 🤘 00==v==00 🤘
I am! It was just some coating burning off of the galvanized metal. I just leave things in for fun. And I’m feeling great! Thank you!
That wooly mammoth used to have moving ears and trunk way back in the day.. Dinosaurland is almost 60 years old and has been family owned and operated since it opened in 67.. One of the few remaining mom n pops roadside attractions that used to be all across America but have been disappearing until only a few of the older ones remain... 😔
@@Wil_Liam1 yeah. Dinosaurland is a wonderful place.
you where right in covering the undercarriage. truck bed liners like that are not ment for bare metal, its ment as a protective coating over at least primer. if not it will hold the moisture in and rust from the inside out.
The hadrasourass was named after my home town Haddonfield nj my home town. ❤
👍
👍 thanks for being a member and supporting the build! I’ll have some member videos up soon!
Thanks brother. I'll be looking for them
Great video! Always like to see the Buick getting some love, random question but when you get around to painting the Buick eventually if you choose too are you going to paint it the same as your other Buick or are you planning on a different colour scheme, I know this particular model looks lovely in a light blue but that’s just my personal opinion and I would recommend but dI trust your judgment more than my own haha, thanks!
Do you watch Cold War Motors, he's working on a 59 Buick as well.
The question here is, wth are an octopus and a mammoth doing hanging out with dinosaurs?😂
I wanted to let you know if you are needing any 59-60 Buick Parts Ryan at Iowa Classic Cars on RUclips most likely has your part, let me know if you want his Email.
