Perhaps you would like to add something more to that than just a random two-word attack? Perhaps you would like to enter into a polite, adult conversation where we both discuss our various views on the game and at the end, part ways with a mutual understanding of one another's opinions, safe in the knowledge that though those opinions may differ, that's okay because we're all different and that's what it means to be a person navigating this rich tapestry we call modern life.
So you just wanted the same game all over again we saw the partnership in TLOU1 they took a risk and do you know how rare it is someone dose that? and Joel got what he deserved. this set in a apocalypse its dark and grim if you want something where the good guys always wins go watch a marvel movie. cuz in TLOU there are not good guys it's all about perspective

In my opinion (that word again) that's a load of nonsense and demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of the character and his motivations, which formed the very heart of the first game. In a nutshell: man loses daughter and spends the next 20 years as a shell of his former self doing some very questionable stuff. He then meets another young daughter figure who reignites something in him that he thought lost. Then when faced with the prospect of losing this new daughter figure and being plunged into the same abyss as before, he makes a choice to save her regardless of the consequences. Does he make the right choice? Yes. No. Maybe. Depends on your opinion (there it is again). There is no definite answer because he's a morally grey character. That's the genius of the first game: it doesn't answer that question, it doesn't pass judgement either way. It leaves it to the player's opinion, which is a subjective construct based on their own experiences and moral code (as opposed to an indisputable objective fact). And that's ultimately why the second game manages to derail itself almost from the very start: it decides to sweep away all of that and fall very firmly down on the "Joel Miller was a very naughty boy" side of the fence. It might have pulled it off had it been handled in a competent manner, but it wasn't (in my opinion - in case I'm not being clear enough about that).

A well written story is designed to elicit an emotional reaction. I am a published author and have studied the craft most of my life. Unfortunately, a lot of people now days get butt hurt if something isn't what they want. Or makes them feel uncomfortable. This story is extremely well written and accomplishes what a literary work is supposed to do.
I can’t like The Last Of Us Part II after what they did to this beloved character. What I liked about The Last Of Us Part II was the flashback when Joel and Ellie went to the museum.
A way that I like to think about it, that helped me. Is that we as players go through what Ellie went through. We must pass the stages of grief. Denial > Anger > Bargaining > depression > acceptance. Atleast this is what happened with me, and Ellie. I used to dismiss and be spiteful of the game before I even played it. And when i finished playing, I was depressed. But now I have accepted it, and I now view it as a complete masterpiece. No other game has brought out so many emotions and been so memorable to me.
Last of Us is supposed to be touching. Naughty Dog told us a story they wanted us to experience. This isn't Disney. Some characters die and we remember them. It's just how it is. Joel had to pay for what he did when he saved Ellie. He saved someone he loved, but killed many people who were also loved by others, like Abby. This is isn't about Joel dying, it's about so much more than that.
I just got around to playing this. I was devastated when Joel got killed. I know it's only cgi, but my heart panged and I wanted to sort these fuckers out. Poor Joel, be at peace brother x

Same here.... :/
Joel and Ellie is the best
We miss you, Joel!😭😭😭
:'(
Great video!
I just got around to playing this. I was devastated when Joel got killed. I know it's only cgi, but my heart panged and I wanted to sort these fuckers out. Poor Joel, be at peace brother x
Sad, the only word to describe that scene in The Last of Us Part 2
