    This company needs more love.
    I have both the T0's and T1E's and love them. What the T1E's can do for their size is really something else.

    The way you started the video was pretty funny. Not only do these speakers likely beat the heck out of a similarly priced sound bar for use with a TV, but also can be used as extended-stay travel speakers. In 2020, KEF decided to blow out the remaining inventory of the EGGs for $200. I spend the winter somewhere in southern FL to escape the cold, and small powered travel speakers are perfect for this use. As such, I've always been interested in the Vanatoos as a replacement if the KEFs stop working. A couple of months ago, SMSL introduced a small ESS-based DAC with a set of HDMI/Optical/Coax ports for $30. Pair them with a WiiM mini, and you've got an awesome travel system. If my need centered on a more stationary solution, the Q Acoustics powered speakers that go from $400 (on sale) to $500 (regular price) would be a better solution.

    I've had these and they are great. I would recommend putting them on some ISO Acoustics stands and get a subwoofer.

    You really should have tried them on a desk that's where they work best. The wattage in a living room depending on the size and how far away you sit can get problematic with these speakers. The nice thing though is you can max out the volume and they still hold there composure. On quietly mixed tracks on my desk i could have the volume at 100%. Always wanted the ability to have just a little bit more.
    Do yourself and your patrons a service and review their other speaker. The vanatoo encore plus. Its better in basically every way and that speaker does actually have the wattage for a living room. When i hooked my hot rodded wiim setup to the encore plus in my living room/listening space i was honestly shocked at how precise the imaging was. Honestly still top 3 best imaging ive heard. By imaging i mean when things are moving/traveling left and right through/across the stage. Its very good. So if you still have even the zeros try them with a dedicated streamer. They actually scale! Im surprised you didnt mention the bass as much. I had to isolate both the zero and encore speakers because the bass was so strong they wouldn't stay in place 😂.
    These two speakers are also one of the first speakers ive heard on my desk that literally gave me a soundstage on my desk. Truly remarkable and im not used to that. To be fair and honest though I am not a desktop listener. I dont review products on or for my desk often if ever.

    I've been tempted by these, partially because I have the Acoustic Research AR Sound Partners and Powered Partners from the 80s that have the same shape. They had to be some of the first powered speakers. Made of cast aluminium and sound amazing still.

    I would suggest you check out the Kali IN8's or the Adam T8V's. These can be used on stands just like passive stand mounters. You will be surprised on the quality these speakers bring to the table in a hifi set up.

    @BobbyBass-x6i 7 месяцев назад

    Thanks for another video. Not a fan of powered speakers after my experience. Prefer passive with separate power. If something goes wrong you can replace one component but separate components tend to last longer anyway.

    I know where you’re coming from on this one. My 2 channel system which has taken me, 40 years to build, or to be more accurate has evolved over the last 40 years having spent about the equivalent of the price of a premium family car is superb, for attentive listening. My wife hates it. She has a little, all in one system that cost around £500. It’s superb for casual listening and I guess would more than suffice for 95% of the non audiophile community.

    Great review. Thanks for sharing, and Im glad I found your channel. Could you use these for gaming? Im looking for the best sound I can get out of small fourm factor deskset up. I might want to use them connected to a 4k blu ray player as well for movie watching.

    • @NemoPropaganda
      @NemoPropaganda  14 дней назад +1

      yes absolutely, I'd say that's the ideal setup for something like this speaker. You're not going to have big bass obviously because the speaker is very small but it sound reasonably full. If you want more bass without a sub you'd have to spend a bit more and get something like the SVS Prime Wireless, both are great options at their price. That vanatoo are a little smaller and you can always add a sub later, something like the RSL 10E would be a great option!

    I thought the Elac BS-41 and Sony SS-5 were terrible. There has to be something much better for $150

    • @NemoPropaganda
      @NemoPropaganda  7 месяцев назад

      Totally agree on the BS41, there is a running theory that theres different versions of the SSCS5 or that the performance varies from batch to batch almost like they're made in a few facilities and they're not all the same. I've talked to people that have owned 2 sets that sounded totally different. The pair I had was just like the one everyone raved about. $150 is a pretty light budget, I'd say the RSL CG3M are about as good as it gets and those are $220/pair. I don't have a any sub $200 recommendations.

    I like the photo slideshow on the tv, but I would probably keep the individual photos on screen for a lot longer (like 2-3x longer) and I would definitey fade between them.
    The current setup is a cool idea, but pretty jarring and distracting in its current state, IMO.

    • @NemoPropaganda
      @NemoPropaganda  7 месяцев назад +1

      no can do my bro, the TV has limited options, I have it set to be as slow as possible, fade is not an option as it will cause the auto focus of the camera to get all wonky. This entire channel is filmed & edited using an iphone my bro, it's never gonna super polished but I appreciate your feedback.
