Agreed, when I bought my little home (solo) i purchased pretty much all but the large items such as fridge freezer, washing machine and large tv. I ended up getting the keys and starting my new job all at once 😅 xx Parents lost their spare room and garage…and the neighbours stored my Homesense sofa 😂
Good tip for the car is having a slip lead just in case. I found a stray dog that didn’t have a collar on, so the slip lead came in handy and I’ll never not have it in the car now
Harry the family/parents dog got fed up with his crate at about 3. So we allowed him to have the door open and a bed outside of then crate. Like you, we used a gate to keep him secured to downstairs. We then got his little fur sibling who used the crate until she was old enough to trust. They both sleep in their beds…sofa or hallway now. Maple my mini dachshund is crate trained, she’s loved it from day one, no issues whether she’s in hers here or hers at my parents. Working from home she goes in for nap times 😊❤
Our family dog was crate trained as a puppy and she was locked in there at night and whenever no one was home. When she was around a year old we no longer locked the crate ever and she just sleeps in there because she wants to, not because she has to. It’s her safe place and she won’t be bothered in there, but when she wants to she can sleep anywhere else. Works perfectly for us!
Another amazing video as usual 🫶your videos are the only reason I like Sundays 😊 and little sunny is the most cutest cavapoo and girl dog in the world ❤
Cud u not leave the crate door open and she might settle on the lounge floor or in her bed. It might just b that her crates never been in the lounge and thats where all the fun stuff happens so she dont like been locked in. Just a thought x
Yeah I second this. We moved our dogs crate into the livingroom when we did some work in our dining room (where it's meant to be) and my dog wouldn't settle because living room was usually where fun things happen. He got a bit confused and took him a while to know to settle.
Collecting things before you move out will be such a life saver! I did the same and now we only have to outlet for the bigger bits of furniture etc 🩷
