Gotta be James Bond. My mother has a sweet coworker (nurse) that she introduced me too. We’re both in our early 20s. Had a chat with her over the phone for an hour a couple of weeks ago and told her she’s sounds like a fun girl and that we’ll have to see each other sometime. A couple of days later we set up a date for this Thursday and she canceled on me for her dad who wants to put up Christmas lights and just had back surgery. I said no problem and to let me know whenever she’s available. The prior week she apologized for the late text response because she’s adapting to night shifts. Haven’t talked to her at all over the last couple weeks. Can’t really tell if she’s trying to let me down nicely or she’s just genuinely busy. Time will tell. The first mistake this guy made is dating a female from work. This is a very touchy thing to try. I don’t even talk to females at work unless it’s for business purposes. Can’t stop thinking about my co worker. We hit it off over the course of a month or so and things started getting hot, I was doing everything right. Then I started to get complacent. Now I’m pretty sure she’s seeing a different co worker who has kids, and he acts like he doesn’t know nothing. So frustrating! I wanted her, but now I don’t and all I feel is disappointment around the situation. I’m getting out of there, and if she lost interest in me then I wish him all the best lol. Still hurts though. Don’t fall in love, don’t make yourself too available, be James Bond 100% of the damn time it’s the only way.

I generally agree with Corey but what if you actually like a woman in a healthy normal way and would like to be in a relationship. But you want to do things on your time frame? What is fundamentally wrong with that? Why not say to her if you are not interested in a relationship see ya? And move on. Why all of this bullshit that gets dragged on over months and years for her to warm up like a pissy temperamental cat? Life is too short for that stuff. Seriously. If there is not mutual immediate relationship interest and attraction (if that is what you the man want) you can waste years or decades with these long dragged out courtships just to eventually be in a relationship that consumes a ton of energy and years just for her to have her be yours in many cases. It is all a huge energy and time drain. Woman and pussy are not that great anyways. I value my faith, guy friends, family members, garden and volunteer work more anyways. It’s like why are decent men dealing with a mostly awful population of modern American (Western) women? It is absurd on many levels but I guess biology is still our biology.
