Hey there. I don't mean to sound like a "gimme gimme" commenter, but I would sincerely appreciate the next video to be about Walschaerts valve gear. Currently working on an A3 model, and I have no idea how to tackle this type of valve gear. Thanks!

i was actually planning on doing Walschaerts next but as of now I've not actually built an engine with Walschaerts which I can give to you guys as an example. I've rigged a lot of Walschaerts but never actually built it, well I sorta did built it but it was really badly made and as of now doesn't work. when I eventually do make Walschaerts I'll make a tutorial but if you really need help with rigging it you can either ask on a discord server or possibly look at other models on the toolbox

Not to be a nerd or anything, but the Flying Scotsman / A3 class runs on Gresley Conjugated Valve gear, wich is almost identical to Walchearts except for an extra cylinder in between the 2 regular cylinders

i might consider that, my original idea was to make a series on how to rig specific valvegears but I guess I could do a how to series on how to make a train in general if you guys really want it lol, also yeah I kinda did make a basic outside rod tutorial lol, hope it was helpful

Somehow Golden Galaxy's speed UI disappears when you get off an engine, while various train games have the speed UI stay in screen after leaving an engine for the first time

Cylinders generally work well to start a wheel on, believe me my first wheels were pretty bad lol
