Iftikhar Aarif Sahab has rightly elaborated the condition of the humans where they start to consider themselves as gods and start challenging the nature. At the same time they find themselves helpless as far has normal daily life is considered but they are intoxicated by the “time being” money they have got.

ḳhud ko bikharte dekhte haiñ kuchh kar nahīñ paate haiñ
phir bhī log ḳhudāoñ jaisī bāteñ karte haiñ
This sher (Couplet) alone made the whole ghazal famous. It has got all the desired feelings to give you goosebumps.
