I can hear in the original song, he's playing the snare with more fillings in between each hit, like swing, something similar like on running free song. Give a listen and let me know mate. I'm not a drummer but i can hear it. Cheers

Well,I can explain the way I play the song.I use my right hand to play the accented notes of the hi-hat(intro),and my left hand to play the non-accented notes.And I play the rest of the song the way it's supposed to with a tom+snare fill right before the chorus.Also,there's one Iron Maiden song that's been sruggling me for a while just because of the hi-hat intro.The name of the song is "Wasted Years",and I really hope you're going to do a video lesson for it
