Got myself one of these today . Very nice dart and highly recommend it for rear grippers who grip right at the back . And a simple old school grip .

Thanks a lot for the review. Been thinking of getting a set of these the last couple of weeks. I currently throw Bristow Golden 24g so always look for a similar style dart, saw these & liked the look of the grip.

I dont think his darts ever got on the market? They look like slightly modified Barneveld Phase 1 darts anyway.

A try before you bye, if you pay the return postage , is what we need online, even secondhand darts, would be a god send for guys like me who are trying to fool them self, that the 12 14 darters they throw in the 80s & 90s, can still be done, but the reality is...it's long gone lol..another great review mate..

That's what I thought, and think about most darts, that have the smooth spot toward the rear of the dart. I have Adrian Lewis Gen 1 World Championship 25 gram darts. They were the first real set, aside from a 40 dollar 23 gram Bottelson random set I bought initially. Still have them, and love the absolute shit out of them! I am curious as to see how a dart like this would feel. I grip those darts in particular right where the smooth spot is, and I use it as a release point If that makes sense. i just wonder since these have "more grip" around the area is it might help a more consistent release. Anyway, I'm just thinking out loud. I definitely agree with your comment though! Cheers!

Darts Review Channel these need rebranding already, olive drab, novelty shafts with a ring(like the pin) and name changed to shrapnel.
They look like the Powercore Imola darts which I crave but unable to buy online on www.v-darts.de as they only ship to a handful of countries in Europe. Anyone who can get them for me from this online site? I would really appreciate.
Is there any chance you could start mentioning if they make some of these in soft tip variation? I've really liked how some.of the barrels look but can't find them in soft tip which is primarily shot in my area
As far as I am aware Red Dragon only make steel tip darts, dont think I have ever seen any Red Dragon soft tips :)
I just mean in general. Not just red dragon. Any barrels you review. I think that would.help a lot of viewers
I do on some reviews, but not done it on all, sometimes they make the soft tip version quite differently so its not always the same design as the steel tip but just with some similarities. But if I can remember and as long as I know the soft tips are available I will try to mention it :)

Darts Review Channel yes, too thin for my giant hands. I have atomic 25gr now, do you think harrows elite or Deller 23gr or maybe datadart icon or black would be good for a middle gripper?
The Elite are great darts, they could be ok for you but if you need more grip then what about Unicorn Neon 3?
Darts Review Channel checked them out, too thick for me. Only 2 darts around 7mm thick and 24gr are the elite and datadart black. You think elite dont have much grip? You said around 3 out of 5 grip?
The Elite have a mix of grip and the grippy parts are about high medium but its mostly a medium level overall :)
Nice review of some awesome lookin darts. Also noticed that your release and follow through seem to be much much smoother than before. Don’t see that motion where you flicked the dart before throwin and your arm went to the right side. Looks all straight and smooth now. I know its not the point of the video but i couldnt not see it. Keep it up✌️
Thanks mate, I was trying to get a smoother release this last week, you will probably see it on some other reviews to come as I have some backed up on the hard drive still but this video was only done a few days ago so its most recent but what I noticed the next day was my hand was sore, so not sure why?
Darts Review Channel i guess if you just alter your motion a tiny bit that stresses other muscles or the same muscles in a different way its like when i play with me friends who otherwise dont play darts and they say they are sore the next day. Or it might just be the bottle of whisky that we drank who knows...
LOL I think its to do with where I broke my hand, sometimes it just aches :)

Can you recommend any more darts for rear grippers like myself?
there is lots of darts that could suit you but I dont know what weight or grip you like or how you throw the darts. Straight barrel darts can work for many styles and some rear grippers like Steve Beaton like front weighted darts and some like rear weighted darts. I think its best to check out other players who have a similar grip and throw and see what they use. But if you like a front weighted style give the Harrows Predators a try :)
@@DartsReviewChannel Thanks for your reply I like straight barrel darts I do struggle with the bomb shaped darts been a rear gripper; I ddi have a go with the Zagatos as there was a nice thumb bit to hold at the rear. I like quite a thick dart as i have long fingers and struggle with the release if too thin. I am not sure about the terminology of front weighted etc; My darts usually go in nice and straight I struggle with how phil taylors used to go in had a go at his small darts before and never got on with them really struggle when i see the flight lower than the dart but that man is a unique machine lol. Been looking at the new MVG darts but a lot are 80% tungsten, on my darts selector search Harrows strix also comes up; anymore u can think of please let me know will have a look thanks.
@@DartsReviewChannel also seen at a incredible low budget price designa mega grip £19.95 90% tungsten not sure if you have had a go with those but they look good. Mission spirit also look a good dart.
@@DartsReviewChannel How did you find the Strix compared to the Predators this will be interesting for me been a rear gripper they seem to match my criteria of straight barrel, decent grip . Thanks
@@jackmichael36 The Strix are a good choice too if you like a thicker straight dart. Designa Mega grips are well worth a try at that price too :)

I dont think there is many quite like that style but the RVB 80 are similar shape and a little more grippy.

That little riff to the intro of your vids, right before you say "Hello Darts nuts!" is nothing short of catchy as hell haha. Are you going to review Paul Nicholson's new darts? I'm beyond curious to see ANY review of his new darts. But I've yet to see, or read anything other than Winmau's little statement about them. Keep it up buddy! I added your page on facebook as well. Oh, and just a little Dart gold if you didn't, or haven't tried it out yet. www.WebcamDarts.com All you need is a 20 dollar webcam, and google chrome as a browser, and you're off to playing competitive darts online. Glad you like it, I have no idea what that riff is as someone else did that for me lol I like the first Nico darts Winmau did so will definitely be getting his new ones eventually, I am a front gripper so will probably be gripping the smooth part but when I played with his others for a while they were flying great and I still have the same stems in from new which is the longest lasting set of stems I have had lol! I know all about webcam darts too :)
Good deal! Yeah, webcamdarts.com is a gold mine! I'm definitely thankful I found it accidentally when I did haha. I hardly ever throw unless I'm online now days.. As for Paul Nicholson's darts, I have his last set in silver. I did have them in the black onyx originally, but someone took two of my barrels, and only left me one lol. No joke. So I bought the silver set, and I definitely enjoy them! i don't know if it's supposed to be, but the silver are a little bit wider than the Black Onyx were. I'm not to fond of that, but overall I just figured I'd wait until his new set came out.. The similarities are there. The smooth part of the barrel is just alot smaller, which is what I like! i think it allows for more of a front "grip" than the previous models do. Anyway, Cheers buddy! Keep it up!
I can't help but be curious, as I am a front gripper with my Nicholson darts. Rear with my Lewis, Andy Smith, Showtime Odyssey etc. That's probably a bit confusing haha! But I'm interested in buying another set, and I was eyeballing the Shot, Warrior 1 darts. But hot damn they jumped up to $73 dollars on A180, and that's practically the cheapest place, next to dartscorner to buy anything darts related. Anywho, I'm just curious what darts, or what few you're really in love with right now.. Thanks again!
