Been using nylon stems 30 years ago and never had a broken stem. Just recently got back to darting and initially used plastic stems due to the cheaper cost, broke one and used a heated screw flat head screw driver to extract the broken stem. I've since discarded the cheap plastic stems and bought both nylon and carbon stems and hopefully won't have the need for a broken stem extractor.

Just started getting into darts, and have been looking at different dart youtubers; and you are my favorite by far. Love the videos! Especially the tips and tricks have helped me a lot. Keep it up!

Thank you so much! I've been doing this for a few years trying to find my "niche" and I think helping beginners and sharing my experience playing amateur darts is what I enjoy and get the best feedback on. Hopefully more to come!

Thank you! Yeah it's been crazy! I didn't check any stats for my video for the first 2 days last week and it just boomed unexpectedly! The more I can help people the better!

My wallet is actually as minimalistic as possible. I have a point holder that fits 5 points, so I carry 5 barrels (3 match darts and 2 spare darts in case something brakes). I also have spare (pre punched) flights and shafts. Flight rings and a few small pieces of sand paper. My wallet is a bit larger and a bit thicker than my smartphone, so it's very easy to carry around. I absolutely dislike all those huge cases which fit 12 or more darts, 10 sets of flights/shafts... When are you ever gonna use 10 sets of flights on a tournament 😅. Those are great to have at home to store all your stuff, but when traveling I like to keep things easy

Yeah I don't like my case to be too big. I have a few I've picked up over the years but for me I need to be able to keep 2 of the same sets fully setup so I can quickly change if something goes wrong with a set. As long as I can fit it in my jacket pocket I'm all good

Great video and advice Kurt. Lots of simple items to have in a case that can make a big difference if you're playing regularly. Are you going to any of the UK Open Quals this year? Have you set any goals for this year in darts? 👍🏼🎯

Thanks mate. Yeah I'll be at the two qualifiers in Norwich and my only real goal is to get back enjoying playing to a good level again and be competitive at the higher level

Do you cycle your darts? I have an exact back up set of my main darts but I struggle with ever throwing them. They're just not beat in enough for my liking.

Great question! Yes I do, these are custom darts so I actually have 3 sets. I have 2 sets which I cycle (once I open my case I have no idea which ones are which) then another set I rarely use that still have their grip in case I need it (which is rare)
The darts referee just done a good video of putting his darts in a rock tumbler to remove some of the grippiness. Would recommend checking that out

What this type of fight you use ? Brand

@Hateworld66-6 I use a 75 micron plain poly flight. These are pretty generic and lots of brands make them but "75 micron plain poly" is what they're called

Nothing worse than getting ready to play a match just to open your case and realise you left your darts at home 😂

@ianhayes3980 yep, I've done this then played with someone else's darts and played really well. Bought a set then was terrible with them 😂
