not sure why locks are considered easy. Pet management, multiple forms of CC to keep track of and dish out, devour magic for allies, and limited mobility. It all seems like a lot to manage and keybind.
I'd change immolate glyph due it gets usually dispelled asap. As I'm not multy dotting everyone with it, I can pass the succubus glyph and go for -2 sec cd on my chaos bolt as an option
It’s not about the actual immolate damage, it’s more about buffing your conflagrate. Conflagrate’s damage is based off of a percentage of your Immolate’s total damage. So more immolate damage also means your conflagrate will hit harder.
Great Video!! I have one question: can you make a video about classes that actually work good/best with only or mostly pvp items? I was minmaxxing classic/tbc and tried to pvp (was huge pvp nerd before) but i couldnt handle the double minmax-attitude so i quit the game at all. now i want to come back but ONLY for pvp and still be relevant in terms of raiting gaining - because i can remember that for some classes you needed the edge of pve items for the double sockets and stat advantage etc. i think this could be really helpful for a lot of people! but anyway: thanks for your great wow content !
Warlock mostly pvp gear, especially affliction, needs to stack resilence to work as rot team, i tried affliction wiht only full ICC25 in pvp and it wasn't any fun, you get globaled by basicly anyone, before you dots melt people. MM Hunter gets too strong in S8 with only raid gear, basicly globaling people from a huge range - works better in bgs, tho. 2 extremes basicly. But everyone needs pve trinkets for BIS.
Resilience was introduced in TBC and therefor made PVP gear BIS for all classes, compared to Classic which did not have Resilience as a stat. Melee require more weapons from PVE than casters, but it's all possible.
Hey guy, does anyone know whats addon on the video shows debuffs / buffs over nameplates? its look like flyPlateBuffs on retail but didnt saw same one on wrath / tbc
I dislike how if you want to do the best in PVP you need to play either an Orc or a Human. You should play the race you like the most in terms of aesthetics and lore. Everyone just plays Orc.....
I'm Belf lock atm and loving it :) Having AoE silence and mana back from it (if the silence isn't needed you can use it with life tap to get more mana since it aint on GCD)
Do you use 2 modifiers ? I use QWERtASDFXC12345 with shift on all of them and alt for just the letters and I have more then enough keybinds . With one modifier I can see how it is too much
After listening to Chanimals, you dont need 8-10%, more like 4% starting out, and 6% once your getting fulling geared. If you try and stack 8-10% hit in Season 1, you're gonna have a lot less dmg and resil.

I think a lot of it comes down to its easy to get into and started, but the skill ceiling is high with it.
Easy to play hard to master
Highest skill capped caster which makes it kinda rewarding to play. But even if youre dogshit you can do massive dmg
noone said they are easy
I play affli lock in retail pvp right now and it's fun but it looks really fun in wotlk

Which addon is the icons above the frames for the abilities cast? I've been looking forever.
ive been waiting for this 🥶🥶
Anyone knows what's the nameplates addon? how come you see dots with the default blizz nameplates?
I want 2 know that aswell
Wtf is this some kind of Goddamn club. No one ever says on any video what the addon is.
11:58 'Focus coil'
glyph of succubus (for 2v2 at least)? and 4% spell hit last stat in priority, really?
Ofc idk where u came from

ruclips.net/video/ijXhN1o5XOc/видео.html @apexanalysis has a great video on this. From what I understand melee need way more PVE gear than casters .
For good pvp you need to farm a lot pve

But everyone needs pve trinkets for BIS.
@@zeusapollo6504 what are dots?

how is that prebis with 0 offset hateful? theres no rating req
Just what i needed !
Why would spell hit be last priority? If you miss your spells then it doesn't matter how much of any other stat you have?
Coz you need minimal hit in pvp...
I think due it's ez to get these 4% either with gear or a talent
guess im confused, guide says to heavy stack haste, but only lists 2 subjugation items giving haste
Gems
btw is there a chance to see bomking guide?:)
why you just put 1 point on shadow embrace?
Is it 4 % got or 5%?
awsome guide! sadly warlock is not on my favorite list this patch :) needs too much skill in order to play competitive.
Hey guy, does anyone know whats addon on the video shows debuffs / buffs over nameplates? its look like flyPlateBuffs on retail but didnt saw same one on wrath / tbc
@@seanclark5165 i found out already, its actually flyPlateBuffs, thought it not available on wotlk but find one on merces disc
@@sta2961 you got a link to the discord maybe? :)
How is it 3 trinkets when it shares the cooldown with others off the same effect?
You didn't listen did you. It allows you to have 2 offensive trinkets since you don't need the classic pvp trinket anymore.
I dislike how if you want to do the best in PVP you need to play either an Orc or a Human. You should play the race you like the most in terms of aesthetics and lore. Everyone just plays Orc.....
You don't need to, i play orc for pve but would rather be undead for pvp
I'm Belf lock atm and loving it :) Having AoE silence and mana back from it (if the silence isn't needed you can use it with life tap to get more mana since it aint on GCD)
Then why are you playing a 12 year old version of the game which had complete orc/human dominance in PvP. It's been know for years.
Unless you wanna play professionally then tbh it don’t matter what class you play
it really doesn't matter, its' like 1% difference. Don't fall for the lies of the "META." Undead is a great choice too.
Why not Glyph of Choas bolt?
Is there an Affliction destruction hybrid build, with siphon life and ruin?
Yes
It's a pve spec good shadow bolts but less sustain
so you prio curse of elements over curse of agony?
When you're destruction yeah.
Frost mage next :D
No tailoring? Can you explain why? since it wasn't mentioned.
Tailoring is bis for pve not pvp where survivability is wanted more then damage
@@cinders9532 gotcha ok so BS/JC? Which do you suggest i start with to max out first then drop mining for? jc?
Whats the addon where you can see the dots above the enemys head on the video? :D
I wish I knew this too. No videos ever say.
More macros and keybinds than any class in pvp due to pet management. The insane amount of keybinds is whats giving me problems.
Do you use 2 modifiers ? I use QWERtASDFXC12345 with shift on all of them and alt for just the letters and I have more then enough keybinds . With one modifier I can see how it is too much

@@reneekatz try alt I only used shift for awhile but you can have your thumb hit alt and spacebar , using ctrl is too annoying to me

hunter plz
U want more than 4% hit to overcap against miss talents and racials. More like 8-10%
@@seanclark5165 pvp hitcap is 4% for casters. 4% soft cap + 4% (to counter heightened senses talent) + 2%(for racials) = 10% hit. Locks should be running 8-10%
After listening to Chanimals, you dont need 8-10%, more like 4% starting out, and 6% once your getting fulling geared. If you try and stack 8-10% hit in Season 1, you're gonna have a lot less dmg and resil.
Being r1 affliction warlock in warmane, at and many other servers during the years. This guide is horrible. Not recommended at all!
Destro
For arenas demonology for world pvp
Affli is great ofcourse but is so boring to play
I love the crits and burst of destro but you cant beat the sustain of Affliction in pve, nice if there was a hybrid build of both
