@@AdrianGarcia-sc1sj hola buen día. Al final no, porque por el tipo de cambio de mi país (peso/dolar) me salía demasiado caro y no pude. Me salía más caro además el envío que el repuesto en si. Para que te des una idea, representaba casi medio sueldo. Noté que si usó el teclado seguido tengo menos problemas. De todas formas es un uso hogareño el que le doy así que no le doy tanta importancia.
@@lucasferrety ok amigo gracias por responder, lo bueno es que lo puedes usar aun, el mio cuando se enciende se puede usar cualquier boton o el touch,pero cuando se pisa una tecla se bloquea todo en seguida, buscando informacion encontre este video pero mi targeta cambia un poco a la del videon ya q mi targeta no tiene el c153, solo tiene el c37, supongo que ya no tendra reparacion entonces, gracias amigo, saludos desde Mexico.
I just cleaned and tightened the connections on that board and it's been working nicely since :) i also had that common "crackling sound" problem and had to replace C27, C93, R19, WD3, WD4 on the jack board to fix it.
Hi Lucas, I can't thank you enough!!!! I own four Korg M50 88s. Two of them where locked up. I replaced the capasiters and now they work fine!!! $ 26.00 and I did it myself. Thank You! Thank You !!! Ted from Wisconsin :)
Thank You for this video, it helped me to solve the issue with my M50 freezing. I have no experience soldering and probably did a sloppy job and now my touchscreen doesnt work. I checked the connections several times but still not working but I'm good as long as I can use it without it freezing, I'll worry about the touchscreen later.
I have had both an M 5088 note and a Nautilis 88. Both of which I still currently own and I have never had any problems with the M 50. I believe I have had it for about as long if not a little bit longer than he has, But they are definitely a very robust instrument.

Ordeno partes de esa compañía regularmente, son un distribudor official de marcas buenas cómo Kemet, Vishay, y Nichicon, y muchos más. También modifico mis electronicos a veces para mejorar el sonido o dejarlos con partes más fiables que chatarra Jamicon y partes chinas.
Amigos, tengo un problema, tengo mi m50 desde hace 13 años aprox. Nunca he tenido ningún problema con el, pero lo abrí para limpiar y hacer mantenimiento y ahora las teclas están duras, bajan muy poco y ya no suena nada. Necesito de su ayuda por favor. Muchas gracias!!!
C137 es un condensador de filtrado de la alimentación de la memoria del sistema (nand) y el C153 es un condensador de filtrado de salida del regulador que convierte 3.3v a 1.8v
Sir I do have as well a problem in my korgm50, maybe you could help me on how to fix it. The issue is the volume. Even if its still in a full volume it does not perform well you can barely hear it. I opened it already and it seems the board is okay no dagame at all. I did reset factory as well and didn’t help at all. What could be the reason why ?? Hoping you could help me
Seen on forums that the fader/slider could be the problem. Others just wiggled wires and some capacitors around and it worked for them. Unplugging connections and replugging them. Last resort take to repair shop. Hope some of this info helps. Best of luck!! Let me know if you get it fixed! Thanks

Can the electronic components from a M50 61 key workstation be transplanted into a 73 key M50? I got the chance to get non working 73 key and my 61 key works perfectly and I wanted to transplant the electronics from the 61 key to the 73 key.
I am going to say yes you can use it. Did some research but didn't find anything saying the parts are different... came across this part website that confirms my conclusion.. www.syntaur.com/Items.php?Item=6932 ... but pull the boards out and compare them still. Hi! I have a problem with my korg m50. Cant connect to my pc (windows), the editor doesnt recognized. If i want charge my sounds backup with a sd card, the m50 says me "illegal SMF data", but the backup on the sd is correctly work in 2018 years with the same editor soft. Can you help me? Sorry my english!
Been trying to find a solution for this.. but I haven't found any thing on the internet... all can say isake sure you korgm50 is up to date on software and also the pc program as well... also make sure the sounds are from a korg m50. Can't use sounds from any other korg keyboard.
I haven't had this problem yet but, seen the fader/slider can cuase this issue, also might wanna open just wiggle some of the wires around gentle and make sure the solder is okay. Unpulg connections and reconnect them. Or last option take to a repair shop. Wish you luck!! Please let me know if you find out the fix thanks
Hi Luis, well done on your M50 repair .......I have just done a repair on my M50 which had the same symptoms as Julians. The volume was extremely low on both L and R outputs as well as headphone out. If you need any more info on my fix please look me up on FB Chas Whitling
Reset Korg M50 Stage one 1 - With the Korg M50 is turned off press and hold, the buttons and ENTER and 0. 2 - Turn On the Korg M50, and hold both buttons for 15 seconds. 3 - Make sure the keyboard returns to normal operation after this 4 - If you just reload your programs back again and return to normal use.. Reset Korg M50 stage two 1 - With the Korg M50 is turned off press and hold, release the buttons and ENTER and 9. 2 - Connect to follow the Korg M50, and keep both buttons pressed until the message appears BOOT VERSION 1.1. 3 - Hold down and see if the keyboard back to normal screen use 4 - Make sure the keyboard returns to normal operation after this

deberá abrir y desconectar la batería o reemplazarla. con suerte, empezará normalmente. deberá instalar la versión 1.1.0 o una actualización de software más reciente. espera que esto ayude.

Mucho vídeo, pero me sirvió de mucho, solo me vino el C37 lo reemplacé por un capacitor electrolítico 47uf x 25 v No CMD y me funcionó perfectamente.
capacitores electrolíticos duran mucho menos que los de tantalio, los de tantalio vienen en anaranjado y amarillo, cómo los que vimos en el video

My m50 is not booting up....
