    At 2:52 a magnet would get that little ball bearing out easier than needle nose pliers. Very nice excellent video.

    Nicely done Bob. Thanks for taking the time to produce a time saving and convenient way to reset the indicators for a custom configuration. I look forward to your next video production.

    Or you could back the internal screw way down (power wise), turn the PW to max and slowly adjust more tension into the screw until you reach max velocity for your given reg pressure. No disassembly required

    Merry Christmas...Very informative in the absence of details from FX!!!. This looks the same for my Dreamline Tact. Can you advise Allen key measurements for release of the spring (working in from butt section) and howe many approx turns as well as Allen Key size for screw adjustment? Tks

    Where can this Ernest Rowe Tuning Kit be purchased? I have the new MarkII.22cal 500mm barrel and would like to increase my hammer spring to get the fps up to the stated specs of 920 fps instead of the 773 I'm getting now. I went to the Ernest Rowe website and they don't list it anywhere. Thanks and good video.

    Nice video, very informative. I have found this does not work on the newest of the Crown MKIIs. The screw on the new Crowns needs to be longer not shorter. Using the method in the video caused my Crown to lose power, not gain. I lengthened the screw from how it came from the factory and now I’m getting the power. My Crown has the new hammer power wheel with 24 positions. If you have a new Crown MKII you may want to try just the opposite of what is in this video. I have confirmed with the FX techs that this is not the way to reset the new MKII Crown hammer to max. The screw should be in the neighborhood of 7.45mm out from the hammer spring cover. Also, the newest of the Crowns have a barrel that can be turned over to get more air for slugs.

    Happy New Year Bob, I have a question. Is the larger spring underneath the slider supposed to glide freely? I just now noticed when I tip the barrel up or down I can hear the spring slide back and forth. I took the stock off for visual confirmation. Gun seems to shoot fine. Any ideas? Thank you sir

    in 9:09 , does that mean, if i decrease the protrusion of the screw in the slider, it will increase the tension and increase the power/velocity

    Hey Bob how many more fps did you get with the upgrade? I have my .25 Crown set to 150 bar and hammer spring maxed out and shooting the varmint knocker 31 and 1/2 grain varment knocker slugs at 910 ft per second. Only shot at 12yards but all the holes were touching.

  • @JengaJonga
    @JengaJonga 5 лет назад +1

    Interesting how different you need to set these regulators the acheive about 900 fps muzzle velocity, I shoot the .25 cal 25,39 grain JSBs at 885 fps with a reg pressure of 110 bar! Of course the gauge might be off a few bar but still.

    • @BullseyeBob
      @BullseyeBob  5 лет назад +2

      I I can get 900fps at 130 bar. The short barrel on the Crown 22 (500mm) needs more pressure.

      My 700mm .25 Crown throwing 25.39 JSB’s, 900fps, reg 128 bar yet watching so many others with these same models running up and beyond 140 bar, had me wondering if I should try bumping mine up but I just might leave it alone too

    • @BullseyeBob

      If it's a Crown, they are the same across calibers. If it's an Impact, Boss, Wildcat or Bobcat....they will be different. If it's a Dreamline, it will be the same

    Hi Bob. Is it worth it to buy the DonnyFL adaptor and moderator in comparison to the shroud fully extended? It looks way better than the fully extended shroud, but does it damp the sound more? I am looking to do the same for my .22 crown, but only if it’s worth it. Thanks

    • @BullseyeBob
      @BullseyeBob  5 лет назад

      Yes for sure it is worth it. The improvement over just an extended shroud is significant. Reason being with the shroud extended, all you gain is about 4" (you can adjust for more if you like) of wide open empty baffle. No different than FX's stackable baffle sections for the Wildcat or Impact.
      With the shroud locked to the rear and DonnyFL of your choice on there, you get an actual suppressor, with a multi-chamber core and sound dampening material.
      The result is remarkable. The factory shroud can't compare with an actual suppressor. Bow with a low power setup, it might not matter much, but if crank up the power even a little, the factory shroud won't do much to quiet it down.
